First time I have purchased a chain saw - went for electric as ease of use(no need to buy special fuel and easy to start)Good points - Strong cut tree branches (6 inches width) like butter. Pleased with this chainsaw, feels pretty powerful, and made short work of a couple of pretty chunky trees I have in the back garden.feels solid, but also light enough to be easy enough to lug around.took a star off the ratings for due to the fiddly setup and poor instructions. Not quite understanding where other reviewers are coming from by saying "it just needs plugged in" when it's clearly not the case. You have to attach the chain yourself, which as a novice I found a bit fiddly, and the instruction pictures seem to skip a couple of key steps, so made it all a bit more painful than it had to be.in summary, recommended.

I love this chainsaw, struggled a bit to put the chain on but I do find I’m not good at that! Did it though and using this product is easy. I have used a petrol one before which was 4 x the price I found it so heavy it was difficult to use. Especially starting which I found worst than a gym session! This on the other hand is superb and for me a woman, ideal! I’ve cut down some fairly big trees and the price was a third of the quote for some one else to do the job and of course i still have the chainsaw ... win, win.

I got this saw and the PPE for sawing as a birthday from my perants. I had a job to shape an old apple tree this saw worked well, once I turned thje blade the right way round LOL. I still have to use it on a conifer at there place, but if it works that well on an apple tree. I don't see why I should have to many problens with this saw on a conifer. This is a verry quite saw I started the job with ear defenders on, but they were not needed so folded them onto the hat.

I have been using this chainsaw for the last couple of months. I must say I really like it. It is light and easy to handle. Putting the chain on has been really easy. It is also fairly quiet and feels really robust. So it is all good!! Now a bit more power would have been nice for larger tree cuttings (greater than 10 inches in diameter), but I suppose electrical chainsaws are more suited for occasional work, aren't they?

We've had this Chainsaw a few months now..used to bring down a She'd & Chicken Shed &it's performed very well in aiding, it cut through the thick wood easily..as first time Chainsaw users it.was daunting at first but it's been great..had a bit of a fiddle getting the chain to sit right at first but I think it's because we're novices...all good now & would recommendPrice is very reasonable & delivery had no problems

A well-made product, easy to assemble ,easily obtained parts for saw bar and chain. Has all necessary safety features and is easy to use.I used it for branch trimming of an overgrwn tree and having prepared a good working platform i did in 30 minutes what would have taken several hours by hand.I was quoted £150 by a contractor so have almost recovered the cost twice after one job

This is a powerful chainsaw and excellent value for money, however, the problem with mine is oil flow, it does not appear to be getting onto the blade. I have now asked Einhell UK 3 times, once by phone, did not know the answer, twice by email, both unanswered. The manual is far from clear, if the oil fails to come through and the cutter packs up that would not be my fault.

Took about 2 minutes to prepare it for use. I used it to cut up a pile of tree branches, some up to 6 inches or more thickness. Went through them like a hot knife through butter, but then, you'd expect that from a brand new chainsaw! Easy and light to use. Good chain brake. Good length of electrical cable (5 metres). Pretty quiet in operation. Happy buyer!

I have a small garden with a dead tree with a 26cm trunk and about 7.5m tall. It is also quite hard. 10 minutes to bring it all down with some trimming. Maybe 10 mins more work! Really works fast and easily and not too heavy. Not quite a hot knife through butter, that is asking too much, but very close.Excellent product and value.

Order delivered as scheduled by Amazon. Having previous experience in assembly of blade and chain on chainsaws this was fairly easy to complete. Have used the machine twice since purchase and it has worked well without any issues. Would need to use over an extended period to give 5 stars but it looks to be a worthwhile purchase.

Very happy with this purchase. I have a Stihl petrol chainsaw for out and about, but nowhere very convenient to use it in my garden. With this I can cut a few logs in the garage without filling it with exhaust fumes. I am very impressed with the way it chomps through pretty sturdy logs a foot or more in diameter.

Would have been 5 stars but feel tensioning wheel is cheap plastic and may not last. Very powerful machine and cuts great. Much better than my previous one. Cutting through 18" diameter tree stumps took some time but 6" to 9" diameter branches were no problem. Highly recommended in spite of the tensioning system.

This is a beast. It's so robust it slightly scares me. I still think I'm about to lop my own foot off every time I use it. My wife looks on in fear, white as a sheet, every time I amble into the garden and start chopping large logs up for firewood. I can't believe you can buy an actual chainsaw for £80-odd quid.

Does exactly what it says in the advert. Chews up branches easily. Will block up if you put too much greenery in at once but is very easy to safely unblock. The instructions do say follow greenery with a branch to stop it blocking up.Light so easy to move around.
