Does what it is supposed to do, good price, hard wearing,chain is moderate not highest quality but used it twice for 5 good sized trees (15inch diameter) and still like new. To those who moaned about no oil, since when did you get free oil from any retailers when buying an item like this? That is why they Sell oil in shops,grow up and go to shop and buy some,not like you didn't know you were getting a chainsaw. You ordered one. It's a good chainsaw for its price.

To be honest I was a little hesitant ordering an electric chainsaw as I have always had petrol but due to arthritis found it hard to start so thought I would try electric and what a fantastic bit of kit this Black and Decker is. Easy assembly, long heavy duty cable and extremely good motor and clutch. Have been cutting down 0.5m trees and its done an excellent job. Extremely pleased.

I brought this item a few weeks ago to help with removing a few trees and to cut up logs the chainsaw did the tasks effortlessly the only draw back was the amount of oil needed to finish the task the chainsaw is lightweight easy to assemble and use and not too noisy if like me you have never brought or used a chainsaw I would recommend this product.

This Realy does do what it says on the Tin. 2 Large pine trees from my from my garden taken down without a hiccup. I have one wee complaint and why only 4 stars, for the money this is costing would it hurt to put a bottle of Chain Oil in the box as well, as a visit to the DIY store was required before it could be assembled.

Initially i had a lot problems with chain coming off? could be that just do not have the power on my grip to tighten chain. or initially there is some stretching? Try to keep the chain entrance clear of weeds!

Purchased to cut down some apple trees and a very large conifer. Easy to use and cuts really well did the job in no time, very quiet for a chainsaw as well. Really pleased with it and would recommend.

Bought this to cut down a large 20ft + conifer, chainsaw was brilliant but the chain wasn't, bought a Oregon chain and what a difference.conifer is no more.

great chainsaw, does what it says, has some power too, did the job i needed it for which was cutting down a 20ft pine tree in the back garden

Cuts beautifully and runs smooth. Although it's a bit heavy I guess it kinda has to be. Absolutely brilliant saw.
