What can I say, this is a heavy chainsaw, but I have only had corded chainsaws in the past.Watching the video should have made putting it together really easy .. I said should as I managed to put the disk thing on the wrong part of the saw, then put the saw blade upside down .. then I put the chain on the wrong way around. I don't think I have had so many laughs assembling anything .. ever. Once I did get it all together in the right order, I found it quite heavy to hold, then adding the battery I am thinking I need to take up weight training, but then found a saw horse that you can attach the chain saw on to, as I have just sliced through my wooden saw bench with the new chain saw,

I needed a chainsaw for home use,I have had a couple of electric cheapish ones and found the chain kept coming off .so I wanted a decent battery saw that a professional would use after a lot of research I was down to two on the list the ego and oregon.i opted for the Oregon as it has a self sharpener.and the ego has the Oregon bar and chain anywayWe let me say it's a safe easy to use saw handles trees and logs ,and timber planks pallets with ease almost butter like and so quietMy only disappointment was my fault I bought the smallest battery ,in hindsight I should have bought the 6ah or 4ahI am now thinking of getting the lawnmower and strimer with bigger battery's

Upgraded to this from the 240 version, which had done me proud during the last 3 years.It is definitely, noticeably more powerful and handles a batch of 7-8 inch[20cm] logs on a log horse with ease, so all the hype about increased power is actually true in this case; I've been using it for a couple of months now so that I could give it a decent trial.Also upgraded to the 400 battery and yes, it too gives a lot more cutting time per charge, so having the 240 also, gives me plenty of work time.So, for anyone working with smallish timber and needing a lightweight reliable saw with decent poke I'd say give this a go as it really does seem to live up to its spec.

This is a nice little machine that's powerful enough for most of the work I do around our fields. Makes light work of saplings up to 4 inches diameter and no doubt could cut down a reasonable size tree with it. Bought a high speed charger and 4.0Ah battery elsewhere. Battery charges in an hour and good for about 45 minutes. Quite heavy but big advantage of plugging in battery and your ready to go.

I have used chainsaws before, but this Oregon provides extras that you will really appreciate them, as easy Tension chain and self-sharpening chain system. I got the 2.6mA Battery, which gives me 25 minutes of power. After using for a month, I am so pleased with my purchase. Clean (the battery technology is incredible), easy to use, no hassles, enough power for medium logs. Bye-Bye petrol !!!!

Fantastic chainsaw, tad expensive we you have to purchase a battery and charger separately which cost more than the chainsaw but my husband conceded today that it is amazing ,Made short work of the logs we had which the last chainsaw failed miserably. Felt much safer than a petrol one as well.

Perfect chainsaw with cleaver shapening system I recommend to buy 4 or 6 Ah batteryIf you want quality product this is item for you. It has enough power to cat 10” trees without any problem. Your are limited only by battery standard will last approximately 25 minutes running time.

Excellent piece of kit, well packaged easy to assemble good safety features.I went for the 6 amp battery option, loads of power for a battery operated tool.The self sharpening lever works a treat and is a time saver.Well balanced to handle and easy chain tension adjustment.

This is very impressive bit of kit. Was a bit dubious about it to begin with but thought I would take a chance. This wee thing slices through quite heavy tree trunks like a knife through butter. Light and easy to use . Simple to assemble..

i like this chainsaw.instant to start and cut.but with no messy 2 stroke-up ..However the only negative thing is the Lithium battery needs charging after a modest trimming...But does charge after a hour..the 4Ah.is preferred but expensive.

Absolutely brilliant. The chain that comes with is good, but doesn’t last very long. I bought normal size chain, which will last much longer. I bought 2 in1 steel sharpener ( get the right one for your machine). See YouTube.

Love my chainsaw! Light and easy to use, loads quieter and no faffing around with petrol/oil /two stroke or whatever it is. Percect for the 8" or so diameter logs I'm filling my woodstore with.

Great chainsaw. Much better than petrol for smaller diameter trees /logs .Easy to start /use.Good value. No messing about with petrol.Lightweight for a woman in her mid sixties!!

Reliable, cuts well, charges quickly. Suitable for log-chopping and small tree work.
