So it was decided that I needed a Chain saw to trim some trees in our garden, and to cut wood for our log burner. I have always had a "fear" of using a chain saw, but this one has allayed that fear. It is very light and manoeuvrable because it is electric rather than petrol driven. I looked at several more powerful machines, but opted for this one as it was only slightly more expensive than the others and is brand new as opposed to being reconditioned. It is also powerful enough for the jobs I intend using it for.All in all I am extremely pleased with my purchase

I have never had a chainsaw or used one, Went for the AKE35S because of only 4Kg weight. Other brands that where 1.5 to 2 Kg heaver and I new as I was up a ladder and was using this one handed that light weight really mattered. I had gloves and eye wear but what I done was dangers. Anyway I need not of worried it was so easy to use and went through 8 inch stumps like a knife through butter just by resting on it, I hardly had to use any force at all one handed as I was up ladder. Great buy.

Lightweight handling heavy duty user friendly perfect design and gets the job doneLook after it and it will look after youTip as with most power tools don’t be too heavy handed with it let it do the work and store it in a dry place to preserve the motor windings

I found it lightweight & easy to handle no kickback,instant chain brake when trigger is released so safe, I have cut through 250 dia Oak branches with ease, it is well engineered & compared with my petrol saws it's an instant low maintenance tool.

Been using these bosch saws for years now , never let me down , can always get new blades easy ..Over the years iv hacked thro trees , sheds , doors , benches fences the lot ....brilliaint sawsDont hesitate just buy one ..

I have borrowed one of these before and thought it was very good so when I needed a chainsaw again I decided to buy one. I am not disappointed it really is very good.

It's a very effective chain saw... more environmentally friendly than a petrol 2 stroke, and a lot cheaper that a cordless. If this is what you want it's perfect.

I bought it to chop out a root from a tree that we had taken out. Easy to assemble and use and the quality that you expect from Bosch.

Wasn't expecting it to cut through wood as quick as what it does. Just as good as a petrol one but without the noise.

The saw did exactly as described, light to hold, cut perfectly, no chain tension problems and easy to assemble.

excellent saw tried it out on some ash trees went straight through, my previous petrol one struggled

Had an older AKE35 for years. It was very good. This seems just as good. Time will tell.
