This is a good machine, I feel that it has a few shortcomings which I knew about before purchase from various YouTube reviews. They are related to the balance of the tool when working which tends to be front heavy. The other relates to the oiling system for the chain, it requires close attention as the reservoir is somewhat small and the machine appears to leak this oil if not set down very carefully. Apart from that, it is a good machine to use perhaps a larger battery would help with the balance. Chain tension also requires close monitoring in my opinion.

The saw cuts very well, and the motor/chain part feels very solid. But the pole when at full three section length feels quite bendy - it seems to flex at the joins and has a feel that it would not take much to break it at the joins.But this is trade off between weight, reach, and convenience against strength.Overall, after cutting down several high branches of 100mm diameter I feel it is good value and "does the job".

so easy to use lightweight even with 4amp hr battery no kickback on tool at all but only iin branches toped oil up twice chain still sharp run chain sharpener over it so ready for use again pleased with product recommend yes i would

Pretty dam good for the money, dose what it says, drinks oil for the chain but this is a must to protect it and keep it sharp, eats throug tree trunks and thick branches no problem, very sharp and effective.

Very handy and easy to use for cutting back tree branches. It would even cut through the thinner stems of the tree I was working on. Battery power is strong. Great value for money. Excellent product.

So easy to use once you have used it a few times. Battery life is excellent. Box was a bit tatty but I bought it for the contents which were brand new. Would recommend

Used it for the 1st time this week, tidying upThe tree in our garden. Did exactly what I wanted it for a very easy and quick to use.

It did the job I brought it for, to trim a tree in my garden. Plus as I have other ryobi tools my battery's fitted, which is a plus.

Really useful tool for getting to awkward trees. Battery makes it very manoeuvrable. Not 4m long though.
