This pump works well. The only downside was difficulty in fitment of a standard garden hose. I had to buy a jubilee clip and make a connector from Duct tape. The pump doesn't easily accept an ordinary garden hose and is designed for an outflow hose of wider diameter.Once the hose was attached I lowered the pump into a flooded septic tank. The water level quickly dropped, which allowed the drain to empty into the septic tank. We rejoiced because we could flush our toilet again. Thanks Argos!

Bought this to empty a hot tub periodically and also to put in my garden when it floods. 1st use was good in the hottub, plugged into 240v extension lead, only issue was connection end is not hose pipe standard, fixed the hose on with duct tape. Pressure and flow low to start but emptied large tub in a 2 hours so overall flow rate through restricted hose was quite good. You can put the float in a holder to keep it upright and on. About 3 inches of water was left when it stopped pumping.

I needed to drain an old pond in the garden.After being given quotes by professional drainage companies, I gave this a go as a cheaper alternative. The pump completely emptied a very dirty 3ft deep, 15ft x 6ft pond in less than an hour without getting blocked. The enclosed instructions aren’t too clear, but the pump was easy enough to use with a little intuition. My only suggestion would be to make sure you have an appropriate hose to attach as this is not included.

After having a panic footings had filled with about 18" of water I got this online and picked up the next day.I read a separate tech sheet stating that it will pump up to 9000ltrs an hour so that's better than the £150 ones I was looking at from karcher etc.I did have to go to the garden centre and buy some 32mm pond hos but once I cut the plastic down and clipped on the big pipe the pump was excellent . It pumped out a 70x60 17metre trench in under an hour.Great buy at £44

Overall a very good pump for the money, certainly shifted the body of water it was placed in quickly enough, however there are a couple of things to be aware of:1) Getting the float switch in the correct position to operate the pump is a bit of a faff and not explained terribly well in the manual.2) be aware that in order to work the pump has to be sited in a minimum depth of water so it won't get you entirely dry without a bit of mopping to get the dregs.

It's a good pump for the price but it could come with a better adapter. It could at least include a thread on the smallest end of the adapter so that a hose pipe could screw onto it. I know that this isn't designed for hose pipe use but since they provide a filter that goes down to standard hose pipe size, having a thread on the end of this would improve the range of usability with this minor change.

I brought the pump to empty my hot tub. It took around 15 mins for it to empty a 7 seater hot tub so was super quick. I did have to buy a hose from screwfix for it though - so that is something to bear in mind. It does leave around 3-4cm of water in the bottom but was happy enough to jump in and empty with my trusty plastic jug as the water was still warm. I definitely recommend it.

The Einhell 370V Dirty Water Pump is ideal for me both in terms of size and effiency. Does a perfect job of pumping water to a large external pond filter. I always leave my pumps running 24/7 and this pump doesnt use a lot of power. It simply keeps running. I would recommend this pump to anyone looking for design/smooth running/powerful/economical.Gadget004

Had this come and it looked really good I tryed it and send to work really well but had to send it back as there was a part missing from it and it was a really shame because I could not what for a aother one so went somewhere else sorry Argos could not what again but will say I will still shop with you as always thanks

Bought this for peace of mind. In case of flooding. Fortunatwly didnt need it. But also realised good for occasional wasjing machine malfunction mop up and also pumping out pond for periodic clean! Fab service from Argos. On the nose delivery - so impressed.

I purchased this to replace my faulty pool pump. Had it running water through the solars 15 hours a day. Wasnt noisy and the pump rate is good. I would definitely buy this product again and recommend. Also was great and quick when it was time to empty the pool.

I bought this pump to empty my septic tank; no problems for it - all the way to the bottom.Just get some hose to connect to the pump.I note that that cable length is very long; easily long enough for usage.

Does exactly what it says on the tin! Very quiet and efficient. It solved our flooded cellar problem quickly and without fuss and noise. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pump to anyone with a similar need.

Extremely powerful, done 6000 liters in 7 minutes. Only one you need to keep in mind, garden hose is too small for that flow, that's why manufacturer made it for bigger hose. Do not forget to get one.

Bought this as it took forever to empty my hot tub, this had it emptied in 25 mins! Does not use a standard hose but luckily I was aware of this so had 25mm one to hand. Easy to use, really pleased.
