I love the fabric and the bag seams feel strong and sturdy. Not like the Karrimor rucksack I had before this which started to split apart just a month after I started using it. I decided to spend a bit more money and buy a rucksack with a good rep for longevity. I figure I can't go wrong with an Eastpak. They must be quite certain of their quality control to give a 30 yr warranty.I was a bit wary that the bag would turn out to be too large for my skinny 5'2" frame. I'd ordered a 24l women's North Face rucksack prior to this and it turned out looking so large on me I had to return it, even though I loved its build quality too. This Eastpak backpack however, fits my body frame. I'm so glad. Also it is surprisingly roomy inside. It doesn't look so, but it is.The shoulder straps are very well padded indeed, which made carrying the bag easier and lessened the apparent weight of the bag. There is a rubbery non slip coating on the side of the shoulder straps that lie on your shoulders., presumably to give good grip so the straps never slip off the shoulders. I have narrow shoulders and that was a problem. Not anymore with this bag. However there is also a downside to the grippy surface of the shoulder straps - it feels a bit abrasive when it lies next to my bare skin, so I wouldn't wear them on bare shoulders... perhaps they soften over time so will have to wait and see.All in all I'm pleased with my new rucksack.Would have liked additional pockets inside and out though but I guess I could carry around sorting bags or compartments of some kind in the bag to keep groups of itema separated so looking for something wouldn't involve having to scratch through the entire bag contents. This is a lovely and well-made bag. I have truly fallen in love with Eastpak bags now. My first Eastpak bag and I might even get the Orbit version which is smaller (10 litres I think) but may be a great substitute for a handbag on outings where I pack light.

This is an excellent backpack for a student or anyone who needs something stylish and also functional to carry things on a daily basis. The product feels of very high quality, and I can understand why they provide a 30 year warranty! This thing is tough and I am confident it will never rip or break. However, I do have a couple of gripes with this product that prevent it from getting the full 5 stars. The straps are stiffer than most backpacks, perhaps this will ease off with time, however after 2 weeks of usage they still feel very firm. This causes the bag to feel slightly odd over the shoulder, which is more noticeable the lighter the bag is. With a bag full of books, it's not really a problem, however I do definitely notice the lack of 'flex' in the straps everytime I put it on, which is something I haven't experienced with other backpacks. Perhaps this is a testament to the build quality and longevity, so I am not too concerned about that.My main concern is with the dye used in the fabric. After walking home in VERY light rain (I'm not even sure the rain was a contributing factor), I noticed the (brand new) laptop I had in the bag had some of the dye rubbed off onto it. Admittedly, this did wipe off with a careful wipe with a wet cloth.. however, I was initially mortified to see my very expensive laptop with grey dye markings on the corners from being in the bag.Overall, a great product - but use a laptop case or sleeve!

I decided to buy an Eastpak rucksack after borrowing my girlfriends for a week. She has had hers for 3 years now and the thing is still as study as the day she bought it. Hers was a navy blue colour and it has only faded around the zip areas a tiny bit, but for three years use its not to bad.Unlike most rucksacks i have had in the past I find the smaller front zip compartment useful as it can fit a reasonable about of items in it. A small bottle of water and sunglasses case usually. The one large compartment is very spacious! I have used my bag for my DSLR camera and accessories multiple times and still have plenty of space going. The material although initially feels thin it is very sturdy and stands up to hard wear and tear, evidenced by the three year old bag. When my new bag arrived a very minor complaint was it was "too new" the two shoulder straps were very tough and are still breaking in. I wear the bag loose and unless the bag has a lot of weight in it the straps want to push out and stick up. This will just take time to break in and besides that it is the best rucksack I have had. I haven't had chance to see how water resistant it is yet but the quality of the bag is exceptionally high and I'm extremely pleased with the purchase. Worth spending the little extra cash for the quality.

I have waited a few weeks to write this review so I could give an honest write up after plenty of use. This packback was bought for my teenage daughter who is just starting academic year 10.The backpack arrived quickly and on first impressions looked well made and a good size. It has two strong sturdy comfy padded straps which are adjustable, a large zip main compartment and a smaller front zip compartment. The zips are of a good chunky quality and are easy to use. This backpack has been used continuously every day now for 2 months. It is extremely robust. It holds all my daughter's school books, text books plus 2 pencil cases a variety of other study related items and also her small lunch box.Ihave it on good authority from my daughter that this bag is a tough little item.During a typical day this backpack is usually stuffed in a locker, carried by one strap, carried by both straps, hung on the back of a chair, flung on the floor, opened & closed too many times to count, stuffed full of heavy books plus has endured numerous bus/car journeys! After 2 months of all the above abuse and it still looks as good as the first day we bought it!Absolutely brilliant backpack! No complainants whatsoever.Would highly recommend.

The Eastpak Unisex Padded Pak'R Backpack - colour Sunday Grey - is exactly what my daughter wanted - she wasn't going to start high school if she didn't get that exact model in that exact colour. It wasn't available in that particular colour in Italy and even if it had been, I would still have ordered it from outside Italy from a price point of view. Way more expensive in Italy and, not available from Amazon Italia. Super fast, free delivery. Who could ask for more. Only problem was the size description on the Amazon website. A little confusing, if not completely incorrect. This led me to make enquiries before I actually placed the order, but I had little success with a response. Actually, still waiting for an answer to my question. As a result of all this, much time elapsed between the day I placed it in my wish list and sent the enquiry to Amazon (the bag was shown at a highly discounted price) and the day I finally decided to place the order (at a much higher price). In the end, I decided that if it arrived and the sizing was wrong I would simply send it back. Luckily that was not so! Very pleased with the product.

For the last few years I've been using a satchel-type bag to get around at uni, but recently I've found I just have too much stuff to fit in, plus it was inconvenient for cycling and threatening to break my shoulders too. A friend recommended this bag to me, pointing out that pretty much every school kid in France uses one. And I can see why - this bag is magic. It appears to be bigger on the inside, with space for a laptop, charger, file of notes, couple of library books, packed lunch, water bottle, spare sweater, and all the other random stuff I lug around with me all day. On top of that it seems to make even the most cripplingly heavy loads feather light and super easy to carry and cycle with.Probably because it's all padded and squishy round the back and straps. In terms of appearance it may not be the coolest of all bags, but I like its simplicity, and frankly it's worth it for the 10/10 convenience and comfort. I'm really please with my new rucksack and expect it will outlive its 30 year warranty!

So I've never bought a bag online before and I felt a bit uneasy at first because I was worried I might buy something that wouldn't fit all my school stuff. I bought the Blurry Flowers bag and was amazed at how roomy it is when it arrived. I can easily fit A4 files, with room to spare, and fit any ring binders. It's great because it's very big, but doesnt look chunky when you're carrying it. The fact it comes with a 30 year guarantee is amazing even though I'm not sure if I'll be using it for 30 years. It's very waterproof, and on the first day using it, it rained heavily but my stuff was still 100% dry, and the rain droplets just wiped off. If I had to be very critical, I would say it needs more inner pockets, for my phone or anything, because I don't want it left in the outside pocket. But other than that, it's a great bag, but quite pricey, mine at £45. It's worth it though, probably, because it lasts a very long time and looks amazing.

This backpack is excellent. I study English Language at university, so I have to carry a lot of books around (as well as a laptop, my Kindle, and lunch!) and this bag can take the weight effortlessly. Where so many previous backpacks have burst at the straps this one remains solid, and it's very comfortable to wear with extra padding for computers/tablets at the back. Plus, it looks great and I haven't seen anyone else with it. :)The only downside I've found is that the leather zip pulls fall off, because they're just looped through the metal zips. I have lost two of the three. This doesn't really bother me, as it doesn't take away from the look of the bag, but I thought it was a bit rubbish for the price!I'm still going to give it 5 stars though, as it is the best backpack ever!

This is a small backpack, which suits me fine as I needed something to take to work, carrying book, deodorant, lunch and maybe a small jacket top occasionally. Would be ideal for kids for school or adult that needs to carry few things. Probably not big enough for a laptop unless it was a small one, and you could fit 5-ish few books in here, with a small bit of space at the top of the bag. The main thing for me was that I would like like a small pouch on the inside, to keeps items like a phone, keys and wallet separate, But overall it does what it needs to do. A lot of complaints on here about the size of the bag, but it is clearly listed on the description the sizes etc,so that sounds like people not reading all the info before buying.

I've always loved Eastpak bags since I was a teenager as they're so versatile and generally awesome. It was time for me to retire my bright pink Eastpak bag that I had for the last decade in favour of one that would not look out of place at work, should I need to use it, and this grey print with black spots fitted the bill. It's inoffensive at the office and still casual enough to use outside of work. I always take it with me on holiday knowing that it's waterproof and can handle pretty much anything I put it through. Eastpak bags are still my go-to rucksacks as they're not just pretty but also hard wearing, and the perfect size for slinging all your essentials into for an overnight stay or a day out.

This bag is the real deal. It looks great and holds a lot of items conviniently. The padding on the straps is something you will not experience for a bag at this price! The zips work great and feel sturdy and quality. The material is also waterproof and the bag is light.Pros:Great materialBag looks greatLight weightHolds a good amount of itemsZips are good quality+++great padded straps7 year warrentyCons:It would be great if there was a drinks holder on the side of the bag for convenience.I would like it if there was an extra compartment in the main part of the bag to separate. Other than that, i can not fault it.Thank you for reading my review. A like would be much appreciated

I used to have one of these when I was a kid in school - it was the must-have bag at the time (which is now over 20 years ago). I went through various bags since and never really found a bag that was as indestructible as my old Eastpak (which I have to say, was "borrowed" by my mate years ago because he loved it as well). After seeing someone on the tube with one of these, I thought "why not?" and went ahead and ordered it. I've had it for 3 months now, and it is still every bit as rugged and spacious as it was 20 years ago. I don't think I'll ever be buying another bag (or brand) again, unless this one gets "borrowed" as well!

Eastpak has a reputation for being the manufacturer which produces the best and toughest backpack's in the world. And it isn't the usual marketing, they make very well built backpack's, this is my second and the other one has 6 years and It's still in perfect shape, but the colour is a bit aged so I bought this one, which I have been using for about 4 months eand It's still brand new, even being badly treated everyday. All in all, it's well built, comfortable, classic but still cool design and not such an high price for it's durability. A must buy

I bought this bag in colour 'Roy Say' after long deliberation of my wish list, and I'm so glad I chose this one over all of the others. As a Year 9 girl, this bag is just the right mix of indie but not try-hard. I absolutely love it, it's got loads of room inside it, and it looks like it will last me a loooooooong time :)It also arrived four days earlier than the estimated delivery date, which is a bonus!Very happy, and i can use it to attract a certain boy in year 11 who has one almost similar;)Anyway, thanks, bye!

Bought for myself as in last year of Sixth Form, and carry a lot of stuff around with me. This bag has great support and does not pull on your back at all! Very Very spacious, each day I carry my laptop, 3 A4 bulky notebooks, 2 novels, pencil case, purse and my lunchbox. Front pocket once again is still spacious and keeps my car keys, house keys, student ID, spare pens, snacks. Really recommend this bag, perfect for any student!
