I know when I like a product, and put a lot of thought into buying this backpack. I could have bought a much cheaper one near to where I live in North West London. However for the last fifteen years or so I've been seeing people wandering around London with Eastpack bags on their backs. This has been sending me small messages with regard to reputation. So finally, after soooo many years of buying other cheaper makes, I decided to change direction. I sought out an Eastpak bag on Amaze on, and admittedly I still had my doubts for some reason (don't ask me why). It arrived very quickly, and when I took it out from the packaging I was struck with the quality. I said to myself "now this is what you call a Backpack"!

Bought as a christmas present. A well made product with premium feel to the materials used. Would buy again - But not from Amazon due to their UK tax avoidance scheme.Why should I pay 20% VAT on this item when Amazon have paid no tax on £7bn worth of sales over the past three years.If Amazon want to trade in the UK then they should pay Uk corporation tax like other UK companies (John Lewis etc).If everyone conducted their Tax affairs like Amazon I am sure HMRC would soon do something about it.

Standard Eastpak bag!No complaints. Purchased this to replace my current one that I have had for 7 years.Only replacing it as I need something that doesn't look so scruffy anymore but it still works perfectly fine!Overall very happy and would highly [email protected]

Lovely backpack, looks great, fits lunch, gym gear and the usual handbag stuff in for my commute to work. Only negatives are that the straps are rigid and a bit uncomfortable at times and the buckles slide really easily so am constantly adjusting them - tying knots will fix this however

If you're looking for a good quality backpack that holds lots of school books/files, this one should fit the bill. Very well made, sturdy and excellent value. Looks like it will last a couple of school years at least! Excellent.

This was for my son for school. He is thrilled. It is far "cooler" than his regulation school one. I am irritated that it has no bottle holder so we have had to rejig his lunch box system, but that is a Mum for you.

The size, look ands quality of this rucksack are great and the leather base makes it more robust and less likely to stain than its counterpart without the leather. The thirty-year guarantee inspires confidence!

don't be put off by this photo- anything would look mis-shapen and hunchbacked stuffed with what is probably a few meters of used bubble wrap- look at a few photos elsewhere before you decide.

Bought this rucksack for a present and the recipient was delighted. It is well made and exactly as described. Arrived promptly and well packed. Very happy and would certainly recommend.

The backpack is very durable and made of good material. Ideal for winter and autumn weather, because protects from rain or snow. Have a good trimmed bottom, handle and harness.

Good strong backpack only negative would me that it doesn't fare well in the rain and there are no internal pockets for storage. The leather bottom is useful though.

The bag was brought for my son; he loved it. He uses it for school everyday. It partical and big enough to fit his school books as well as PE kit and lunch box.

The real deal. Great bag, i had the same in grey before so knew it was a good'n. It's very hardy and the leather base keeps it in good condition for longer.

Extremely happy with this bag. Just the right size to take my lunch and flask to work. Looks so smart too. I got it in navy blue. Great quality and brand.

Bought this ages ago, have used it every day since. Still looks like new. Sturdy, comfy and stylish. I love it.
