The 30 year warranty Easkpak provides with its luggage products is daft but shows their confidence in the quality and durability.I find it difficult to part with old backpacks. I use one daily for work (ideal for a laptop) and even take it when there's nothing more than my keys and a glasses case in there. Then it becomes hand luggage when I go on holiday and a ski pack in the mountains. My old one I'd used for 7 years before it became too worn out and it was almost a part of me so it took a while to decide on a replacement!I have other Eastpak luggage items so decided to give their backpacks a try. I opted for something slightly larger than my old Dakine backpack as I found the old one slightly too cramped to carry a DSLR camera on holiday, which took away the point of having a carry-all bag when I may as well just have had a dedicated camera bag. This bag solves that issue and will carry a DSLR and a couple of lenses with room to spare. This bag feels solid (definitely on the stiff side) and is very roomy inside. It has 3 compartments, the back being the main one (which has a laptop sleeve), the middle is more of a divider than anything, when you haven't got a full pack. The front pocket is for smaller items. The front pocket is surprisingly roomy in itself, has plenty of organising compartments, a key hanger and still provides decent capacity when the main pack is full. The front is large enough for a pair of headphones which I find very handy. The bag expands quite a lot. It looks huge when fully expanded and I imagine wouldn't have much trouble holding a weekend's worth of gear for a short trip. There are also clips and adjustment straps to compact the bag when the capacity isn't needed so it isn't cumbersome to carry around when less full. There are fabric flaps the whole length of all zip compartments, which keeps the elements at bay. I've worn the bag in heavy rain and the contents survived unscathed so the flaps do their job. The flaps also make it a little tricky to quickly access the bag without folding them back, so there's a security element to it.The grab handle on top has a solid, thick rubbery plastic grip which makes it great to carry by your side, a great feature for a courteous commuter like me who makes sure to never wear my pack on public transport!Although I love the bag, there are a few downsides to it. These are more personal gripes than anything so do not warrant the review losing a star. They may however make you choose something else:First of all the straps are quite stiff and haven't loosened up after a few months of usage. This means the pack is quite rigid, meaning if you wear the pack with very little contents, it has a tendency to almost "float" on your back. It only takes a water bottle, tablet or other slightly weighty item to make the backpack conform to your body but it's irritating when carrying very light. Maybe this will improve eventually? At the moment it still feels like a brand new stiff backpack fresh from the box. There are no external net pockets for carrying bottles. For this reason the Eastpak Provider would make a very poor hiking pack as you'd have to take the pack off completely in order to get a water bottle out. There's also no Camelbak hole so you can't use it with a water bladder. The laptop sleeve is a little "baggy". There is a built in velcro strap to hold it down (which works) but I dislike having to strap my laptop in. If I don't, my laptop flops about in the bag and is annoying. I've only tried this with a very thin ultrabook though, it could be different with a larger laptop.I'd also have liked a small zip compartment at the top for easy access to my keys but that is purely by design and not something to hold against this particular bag.Overall I love the bag. I get compliments about the looks too. The design is very tidy and looks both smart and casual at the same time. A good go anywhere bag so it fits my needs perfectly. Definitely more of a fashion/dry land sort of pack though due to the lack of quick access bottle holders or camelbak compatibility.

Literally can't find a fault.Resistant to wear (as all Eastpaks I've had so far, seeing as I still have all of them)Waterproof (within reason, i.e.: 30min walks under medium to heavy rain).Easy to clean (easy to clean the outside with a wet towel - or wash it all by hand or machine if the inside is bad, too).Perfect size (it has massive amounts of space when extended and I can shrink it to near flatness if mostly empty).Good organization (with all the little pockets in the front pocket and the lack of these in the other two pockets I can fit a mix of big and tiny things in the backpack without losing/damaging any).Comfortable (because of the depth control, the weight is always centered close to the body and things don't move around when walking). It also looks good. There are plenty other good things about this bag, but these are the main ones. I definitely recommend this to anyone.[UPDATE: After a full 3 years of heavy daily use (to carry everything and anything, from a laptop to groceries and going through camping gear) it still looks brand new. As in, not a single crease or scuff mark. Just-out-of-the-box new. As someone who doesn't really care about where my backpack rests (in a shopping cart, on the ground, hanging from a tree,...) this is pretty amazing. Sturdiest backpack I ever owned.]

I bought this bag for work. It’s very large in capacity and leaves you never wanting storage or searching for you items. It has two main body zips and one smaller at the front. The compartments allow easy access to everything you need, with ties on the sides to compress the bag when not full or just to slim the profile. My 13” Mac fitted great and could hold several folders. I particularly liked the small pocket on the front (or very back as you walk). It was great for all the usual wallet, phone, keys etc when cycling.Despite this being 5 stars, I didn’t keep or use the bag, as I was after a hold-all style for a large lunch bag. The main compartment was ample, however I felt that the middle compartment would get neglected and decided to return the item. This would suit a train commuter/cyclist due to the ties on the side, sturdy fit and comfort. While testing the bag, I found that no matter how many items I loaded, the comfort was still there and the straps have a non slip material down the inner Center. My summary is that this is a great bag, and would suit anyone from college, university and working lifestyle. Due to the design, this would even be a great over night bag, for people working night shifts and just want some food, laptop/tablet and a change of clothes with them.

Prior to buying this bag, I had always used Booq bags largely due to the amount of storage in them and how robust they are. However, the time came for me to change the bag I have been using as it was about 10 years old and as I didn't have the level of budget to spend on a Booq, I had to search for something more in my price range. After finding this one and reading multiple reviews I decided the Eastpack Provider would be an ideal replacement. I was not mistaken. This bag has loads of space, compartments and is really well put together. I have to admit I have been shocked by just how good it is. It fits my gym gear, work stuff (including my laptop) lunch bits and still has room to spare! The bag fits nicely and is comfortable to wear, the handle on the top is really sturdy and the weight is really evenly distributed. The only criticism I have of this bag is that it does feel like I only spent £60 and I have yet to see how well it copes with the rain but so far I am really happy and would recommend it to anyone!

After a decade of daily use, the zip for the main compartment finally gave up the ghost on my last Eastpak backpack. It had been up mountains with me, but was mostly used to carry my food shopping and my work uniform! This pack is basically the same, so I'm sure it will last another decade. It actually comes with a thirty(!) year guarantee, so maybe it'll last even longer.A few new features have been added to the design of my last pack. The carry handle at the top is far more comfortable. There is a padded pocket within the main compartment for your laptop or tablet. There are adjustable straps around the 'waist' of the pack, so that if you're not carrying much you can keep the pack from bulging unnecessarily.Beyond these features, it's the same tough, spacious, comfy pack I'm used to.One small issue to note: On the third use I was careless with the zip, and it already snagged. This was not the packs fault, but mine. No issues with the zips since. Look after them, and this pack will look after you.

If I'm honest, I bought this bag by mistake for my wife not realising how big it was but I've kept it for myself as it's quite useful. My wife was after a ~15L backpack, for some reason I rushed ahead and bought this not realising it was 33L. Rather than return it, I opted to keep it because (1) it's actually a decent size for me and fits nicely between my laptop bag and my 80L camping bag (2) it seems well made and robust, thick material, heavy duty zips and good padding (3) it fits all my gadgets in.I recently used this on a weekend trip as my "tech" bag and managed to fit in my 15" Macbook Pro with TouchBar into the dedicated laptop slot, 2No 12.9" iPad Pro,DJI Mavic Pro Fly more combo and Sony A6500 with 16-70F4 in a small camera bag. All this fits in along with a plethora of cables, charagers, USB battery packs, etcTo be honest with all that gear in it is phenominally heavy but still remains quite compact.

i ordered this bag at 7am on a thursday morning and it arrived the next day to Ireland. I did pick 2 day delivery (only a tenner) but still, that's bloody amazing.the bag itself is pretty great and I'm already fairly sure it's worth every penny. I loaded it up with my college stuff, food for the day and gym clothes/towel and it's still super comfortable to wear. the weight distribution is fantastic. even slung over one shoulder the padding on the straps makes it a pleasure to carry. the straps at the sides that let you squeeze the bag in to itself and make it smaller are nice as well, i'm not sure I'll ever bother my ass actually using them but you never know and it's still good to have the option.I was surprised at how small the bag actually is,the pictures on amazon make it look huge. It's just a normal enough sized backpack.

I've always bought a Eastpak or Jansport backpacks, I ended up buying this because my previous Jansport backpack's zip broke and needed something quite urgently. The bag is big, it has 3 main storage units, in addition it also has a padded unit for the laptop (however, my Surfacebook has been dented while using this bag, if you value your laptop use a proper laptop bag). I can store everything I need in this bag for day to day use including water bottles, chargers, pens and larger items such as books, laptops and papers. Oh and how can I forget the design is great, love the Hawaiian theme. Love this bag and partly due to the brand.

Chose this bag mainly due to its laptop compartment and large size overall. I have a 13 inch laptop which fits nicely into the laptop sleeve, although you can fit a 15 inch laptop in there.Ive had the bag now for just over a year and it has been fantastic, its survived a lot of wear and tear and still looks brand new to this day. Was a little bit hesitant at first as the material looks quite fragile in the picture, but its not at all, its very tough and durable and wipes clean.Even when filled with heavy books etc this bag is still comfortable for the shoulders and back as they are well padded.

Excellent bag! As a specialist teacher, I go between different classes and this rucksack holds my laptop, books, pencil case and lunch. The front pocket has compartments for personal items like keys, purse, pens. The side clips are useful for making the bag more compact. The outer material is hard-wearing and has survived rain showers, and the zips have handy tags on for pulling closed. The only downside is that the straps are quite stiff and not particularly comfy to start with. Apparently they mould to the shape of your shoulders, though, so hopefully this will help. Overall, a good purchase.

It has got to be a 5. The quality of the rucksack appears very good to me. It fits the bill perfectly for my son who needs to carry a laptob, books and writing material. It had a nice colour too (to my eyes, but he chose it anyway). It also appears that the fabric has good consistency and perhaps will last even in his hands ... It has deceptively good capacity and I think that the straps on the side are great as they would allow the rucksack not to "sag" even when half empty.I should add that i bought it from WONXX through Amazon.

I wanted a backpack of a good size in order to cart things between work and home and I was not disappointed by this bag. It has plenty of space for everything I have tried to pack, including a stack of papers 6 inches thick, shoes etc. The laptop storage is of good size and of course can double up as a space for your paperwork, which keeps it protected away from the other things in your bag. When you don't want to fill the bag to the brim, you can decrease its size by pulling the straps on the sides tight to compress it.

I give it to my girlfriend. She loves it for its color, design and durability. It has life long warranty as well. She keeps smiling whenever she uses this bag.It has quite spacious room in the bag. However, if you really want a big bag, this is not that big to accommodate a lot of stuffs.I would say it is sort of medium size.Nonetheless, the quality is really good and you will never regret to pay this much for this bag.Life long warranty sounds crazy (crazily good) but this bag is that good.

This backpack is large, well-made and surprisingly comfortable. I'm a small woman and I've used this as my sole backpack on several short trips away without it causing any back pain. It has two large main pockets, a smaller one on the front and a sturdy carrying handle in addition to the regular straps. It also looks like new despite six months of use at this point. Only downside is that a combination of the colour (parrot green) and size apparently make you look a bit like a paramedic!

Fits my huge laptop, is somewhat stylish yet still amazingly practical. It's like Mary Poppins' bag. It's really comfy on your back and very structured, it also has straps to squash all the stuff you stuffed in there so it doesn't bulge out and make you look like a ninja turtle. Also it has flaps that cover the zippers which makes it that bit harder for pick pockets to get at. Perfect for travel, work and school. Even more impressed than I'd thought I'd be
