Whether I was cycling my shopping home, shoving onto a crammed Circumvesuviana train when I was travelling, or going to a lecture at uni with it full of books, my Eastpack rucksack never let me down.I have used Eastpak for the last 3 years and due to their reliability, recommended them to my gf who uses one herself.The padded pocket at the back, is ideal for a 13 inch laptop and together small zip pocket in the back, are really useful for keeping valuables in if you're travelling and going through crowded stations, etc. I have also discovered that by putting all the zips on the same side, you can actually lock the two main body zips to the front pocket zip (as you can see in the photo)

My last eastpak was finally retired after 20 years of use. Given the value I got from it I decided to get another.The bag is very simple in design. It has the typical eastpak quality throughout. The laptop sleeve area isn't very well padded at the bottom so you may want to add some extra of your own. And as others have mentioned, if your laptop is too big, you can't secure it with the velcro strap so it'll move around. Too small and the strap has little affect. If you happen to have just the right size, ie a 13-14" slim sized laptop, it works *fairly* well. It'd also be nice to have one additional compartment. The front compartment becomes a space for everything small you don't want in the main compartment,

Bought this as an upgrade to my old Eastpak bag (which is still perfectly fine after 5 years of everyday use) - but I fancied a change in colour and was swayed by the slightly larger size and laptop sleeve in comparison to my Pak'r, not to mention the good price. The bag is of very strong quality and feels very well constructed and sturdy, whilst still looking casual and stylish.It should be noted that although it claims the laptop sleeve is for smaller laptops (13" I beleive?) I regularly place my 14/15" (not too sure) laptop inside a protective sleeve in the internal laptop sleeve too. The only difference is that you can't Velcro it in place to secure it however it still fits.In short,

This has to be the Perfect Backpack! Bought for my daughter who needed one that would hold her laptop securely and other items. It also needed to be thief-resistant, comfy to wear and stylish as it was for use when working abroad. When it arrived she was thrilled to bits with it. I then got a visit from my older son and when he saw the newly purchased backpack he commented “that’s identical to mine”. He then turned round and showed me the exact version currently on his back! He said he had been using it for a few years now and he would never buy anything else now. He is a photographer and carries his laptop everywhere. Couldn’t believe I had bought the exact one, but so glad I did,

I absolutely love this rucksack. As I did expect I would as it's Eastpak - and you can be rest assured your purchase will be ok as Eastpak have a 30yr warranty scheme.The bag is everything it is described as being. It's waterproof - I have expensive camera equipment in it at all times and water just slides off the bag. There is also a small zip pocket on the inside at the top big enough for a small lens.The 'laptop sized' internal pocket is also great for books you want to keep away from water bottles etc.A comfy, well made - and good looking - rucksak. I also love the colour 'Sunday Grey' :) would buy more if I could afford

I bought this in the Black Friday sale at a much more agreeable price than the RRP. However, I absolutely love this bag. I use it for work and it fits all I need with plenty of room to spare without being too big and bulky. It has a handy section for a laptop and a netted section as well which would be ideal for any cables.The construction is very sturdy and the zips look like they will last for a long time to come.I would buy this bag again in a heartbeat but I don't think I will have to as this will hopefully last me for a long time to come!

Very comfortable, very well made and resistant (it even protects your belongings under heavy rain!).I'm pretty sure that this backpack will last forever.The only problem I have encountered with it has been the length of the straps: they get loose easily if you put too much weight in the backpack (like an old laptop or a bunch of books), so you have to keep adjusting them daily.I'm trying to figure how to solve that, but I'm really pleased with the product and the price I paid for it here in amazon!

This was a present for my daughter. As she is at university, she needed a strong rucksack that she could fit her textbooks and laptop (and charger) and one that could survive the walk or bus journey there. She says this is still spacious, even with her uni belongings inside and the straps are comfortable over her shoulders. She is very pleased with it; therefore I’m very happy! Great purchase!

The backpack was well packaged and delivered in good time. The backpack was as described and provides sufficient room for keeping day to day things close at hand. The backpack is comfortable to wear and has adjustable straps. The zips for the two compartments are of good quality along with the overall workmanship.

Much more water resistant than I expected - when it’s rained heavily, water sits in puddles made by creases one the outside of the bag, but no water gets through to the inside. It’s large, easily fits everything I need in it, and has very handy pockets. Good quality as usual from eastpak

The best quality backpack I have owned so far. Only getting around to writing a review now but I've had this for over a year and it's still brilliant. Super comfortable and thick cushioned straps. Fits everything you need. Zips are amazing quality and don't split like the cheaper bags.

Come from Paris where every student has their own.Bought that one as a present because I know how long they last.Colour was appreciated. Really handy if you go to work as you have the laptop pocket.Nice to have a small zipp pocket inside the bag for personal stuff.

I am student, and this backpack is great for all my daily and student needs and is also good for traveling on weekends. I'd like the backpack to have a better organization and a bottle holder. It's not expensive but very stylish and surley for the recommendation. ;)

This backpack looks quite sturdy, it also does a good job keeping the laptop in place. The straps were initially too tough and it hurt my shoulders a lot when carrying a heavy bag, but after 2-3 times of wearing into it never had this problem again.

Great bag, fits a 15" laptop fine (although the strap doesn't fit over the top of the laptop like it would for a smaller one). Comfortable and feels hardwearing, I've been using it daily for a couple of months now and there's no signs of wear.
