Bought this model as a present as I have one myself - love this one because you can select 1,2,3, or 4 slices, can do bagels (one sided) - love the reliable mechanical lift (not the silly pop up nonsense) - and the timer is very adjustable.Bit annoying that even at this price you have to buy the (overpriced but really very useful) plate warmer rack for an additional cost... but we use it all the time.This toaster is like a long term family friend that has a great, indispensable presence in the kitchen.

We loved our old one, but it was only two slice. This time we got a four slice and it is a great product, but sometimes the toast heats unevenly - we have to pop the bread up and turn it around in mid-toast. This never happened with the first one, so maybe they are taking shortcuts? At any rate, we would never want to buy another brand - Dualit is a great brand - but they need to sort out the uneven heating issue. We got our toaster quickly and it was packaged great.

Very happy with build quality. Whomever designed this also gave thoughtto how it was to be cleaned, which lets face it is top of most busy mums list.In short, if more companies gave as much thought to the things most importantto the end user they wouldn't get so much negative feedback.

These toasters are certainly very expensive but years down the line they are like old friends ..so I suppose the expense os justifiable

This is the "Rolls Royce" of toasters and a design icon. It is a joy to use, makes wonderfully even toast and is easy to clean.

Superb product. Good old fashioned quality that you can see and feel. Keep your electronics - go mechanical.

Duality quality, UK designed and made. Great toaster, easy to use and easy to clean. Will last a long time.
