I already have one of these and it's so good I got it as a present for a friend. The straight jaws mean you can hold things at various distances and with variable force. The locking screw is very sensitive. The riveting and general quality of build is excellent.

ok item for the money i guess a little disapointed as its not as heavy duty as i was expecting and the jaw jointing has never nbeen dead level from the off start

Well respected tool from the days they were referred to as mole grips. Simple but very effective proven design.
