This is a well made cap and will protect the optics on Pentax-K lenses but the photo is misleading, it does not have the flange shown and so does not protect the contacts.

This cap is not as it appears in the photograph. It has no skirt to cover the electrical contacts. Returned and refunded in full including postage.
