Really very good, I am enjoying playing it immensely! The graphics are gorgeous and the game play is not too complicated (although I am an adult so have no excuses!!)I bought this game for a bit of a fun diversion while I am studying and it was a good choice.Tinkerbell is really cute and you get to fly her around, talk to other fairies and assist with the season changes by collecting items either by looking for them or playing games with the other fairies who give you the items for helping them decorate ladybirds or collect dewdrops. Also as a reward for helping change the season the Minister for that season will also give you a gift of clorhing so you collect other little dresses that you canchange Tink into which is kind of fun!Apparently now I have been through a complete set of seasons I will be able to start making my own clothes and even start giving them to the other fairies (they will start wearing your designs in the game which is really cool!) So this is next for me - I only had to turn it off today as I got the battery warning on the DS :(The only thing I will mention, is not exactly a negative, but something to watch for anyhow, is that you do need to be able to read as a lot of the instructions are written as are the conversations with the other fairies where you get importnat instructions. My niece is almost 8 and I wouldn't give it to a child any younger than her because of this reading element.I would recommend this game to anyone who loves Tinkerbell and the Disney Fairies and enjoys colourful and well thought out (and cute) game play - I am looking forward to playing the rest of the game.

Well I read and read about this game to make sure Tinker Bell would have lots of dresses and accessories to change. And it is true, the best game ever played at our house. The game is date and time related so the sets change accordingly: it will be sunny and with a rainbow sky by day, and starry if you play at night. Also, there are lots of actual events that will make all the 28 fairys to change their costumes and change the gifts they offer Tinker Bell. The 3d characters are very well built and this one I consider a very intelligent game. Girls will have lots of tasks to do, sometimes sequential tasks (you have to do something first to get what you want) and all of them very easy.My daughter is 5 years old, does not speak or read English yet (we are Portuguese) and she has already learned all the menus, places, names, gifts, actions, tasks, everything there is to know. It teaches them that it pays nicely to work hard, to share gifts and to pay attention to what others specifically want. The best rewarding game! Everything you do gets a reward. I do recommend for girls who like DS games, but also like fashion clothing, accessories, shoes, gemstones, etc. Only Tinker Bell is "customizable", but hey! she is the leading actress!

It seems like most of the people who play this game are adults (myself included!) which says something about the type of game it is.This is a very fun game with great graphics and quite an engaging storyline. It also uses the functionality of the DS system quite effectively, for example literally blowing away cobwebs!Once you've finished preparing one years worth of seasons, you start again with the next year. As the game progresses you get to make clothes for TinkerBell and also, very exciting for me, you get to make jewellery and trade it with the other fairies for various items. There are mini games within the game, and if you set them onto Normal or Hard mode, they are quite challenging for adults and you won't get bored easily.I agree with the other reviewers - there is a LOT of reading to be done, so young children won't cope alone (but here's an idea - play WITH them, it could even be an effective tool to teach them to read!)I love this game, it's very cute and keeps me occupied for hours!

I read reviews about this product and the one that stuck with me was that it was visually beautiful and it most certainly is. This is for an older child - one that can read. If you can't read this game will be too much for you. My 6 yr old loves this game and her 3 yr old sister likes to watch (but she doesn't play on ds games at this age) she still enjoys watching this. There are limits to the game i.e., you meet fairies they ask you to find and or repair things and you complete a list so that seasons can begin and the fairies can deliver that season to the mainland. The fun thing about this game is the more you play and the farther you develop, the tasks and repairs become harder and more challenging and you can create outfits for tinkerbell or find materials to make bracelets, anklets, etc., It's a really visually stimulating and creative game but I would only recommend this for readers.

I must say this is the best game I have bought so far for my 6 year old girl. She likes tinker bell and this game takes her liking to next level. I agree that it has some reading and children below age of 5 would find it difficult to continue with the game. It has good graphics and as tinker bell the player goes on helping other fairies to collect items needed to bring seasons to mainland. In return tinker bell gets rewards points and various things like dresses, shoes and accessories. I liked the concept in the game, given you know tinker bell and all the magical things around her. My little daughter absolutely loves it and can play it on her own, learns to be helpful.I would recommend it with confidence for girls over 5 yrs of age having Nintendo DS and like tinkering :)

My four-year-old loves this game and has gone back to it time and again. Graphics are lovely and the tasks are nicely thought out. It has a lot of depth - there is a lot to do, and the further you get into the game the more you unlock. The mini-games are plentiful and fun and range in difficulty from very easy to pretty hard and include girly things like painting ladybirds and catching dewdrops. There is a lot of reading involved, so a grown-up needs to be on hand, but a lot of it is pretty intuitive. The worst feature is the map, which doesn't seem to help you get where you need to go - you take a left and end up underneath where you just were.. My daughter isn't a great fan of DS games, boring of them quickly, but she always finds something new to do in this one.

I'm a phd student and I needed something to relax me and take me away from my books (it even fun for adults)...this was the best thing for it! I absolutely adore this game, I've played it since June 09 and have created over 100 seasons, created most of the accessories and am still collecting clothes, so it goes to show there is so much this game offers. With concentration games, hand and eye co-ordination ones too it goes to show it is not any old game.I've already placed my order for the next one and am looking forward to playing that one too. I recommend this game to any one over 7 due to the amount of reading required to accomplish tasks. Its a real girly game that keeps you addicted for hours.Great for giving as a pressie!!! :-)

I personally LOVE this game...but I am thirty years old! This was actually a present for my daughter (5) and it is a little complicated. We play it together and she has fun that way though she stills gets a bit frustrated, because there's a lot of reading, and a few different things going on at once here.Alone, she does the repairs part of the game, and she flies around collecting leaves but not much else. There are one or two mini games - painting ladybirds, collecting jewels, spinning silk...It's rated 3+ but it's way too difficult for someone that age. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone under eight, but if you can read and cope with detailed instructions to remember, then it's a really fun game!

Ok, I admit it - I'm 26 years old. Obviously, this game is aimed at a much younger audience, but I still love it. The graphics are gorgeous and there are all sorts of little things to discover. I find it a lovely, relaxing game to play of an evening. In response to those commenting on the age of child the game is intented for, the age guide refers to the content of the game, like a film age certificate. All 3+ means is that the game won't contain anything offensive. Many of the 'brain training' and puzzle games have this age classification but are obviously far too hard for a young child to attempt.

This game was better than I was expecting. The mini games are actually quite challenging on hard difficulty mode, even for an adult, the easy settings are very easy though, which caters for children. It will keep you or you child occupied for quite some time. The content is probably more for 5 years upwards rather than 3, as there is a lot of text to read. Also the game environment is quite large and will take some time to learn the layout. The game is mainly about collecting and mini games to earn more things to collect, usually to make outfits or jewellery for your fairy or her friends.

It's a beautiful little game but unfortunately far too old for my 4 year old daughter. Having read all the reviews I had the impression that a little reading by me at the beginning would set her off and and running but this isn't the case. The gameplay is entertaining but there's far too much reading and to-ing and fro-ing around the map between the parts of the game that she can do and although she's patient even she couldn't stay the course. Overall a lovely little game but probably more suited to the 7 - 10 age bracket.

Quick delivery. Reasonably priced the only reason Iv given it 4 stars is I bought it for my little girl who has just turned 4, the game involves a lot of reading - which is alright if I'm sat with her but she's gets frustrated as she's unable to read and can't play on with out me helping her. So Iv put the game away and once she can read il give it back to her - although it says suitable for 3+ I do feel it's more for 6year olds as my nephew can read it and complete tasks. Lovely game mind.

Finally a game for girls with a depth of gameplay and a play time of more than 2 hours! There's lots of things to do in Pixie Hollow, from gathering materials and helping fairies to mini games and creating clothes and accessories. Rank up your relationship with the other fairies and unlock new secrets and activities as your fairy title progresses.Highly addictive, with intelligent gameplay and an emphasis on creativity, this game will challenge a 7-10 year old for hours and hours!

I play this game with my six year old daughter. She loves the mini games and collecting the items to change the seasons. She loves making outfits and accessories for tinker bell. To make all the outfits and accessories you have to collect lots of materials which is repetetive and needs patience so that is where mum comes in and spends lots of times building up the materials - lots of fun for both of us. It might be a bit boring for a six year old if they didnt have the help.

I bought this game for my 8 year old daughter, and she loves it so much, its so magical, she loves the night and day, and beautiful fairies, scenes and seasons, also that you can even design and make clothes for your fairy. She let me have a brief play on her game and i'm so hooked i've even ordered one for myself.(Although not recommended for very young children to play alone as being able to read fluently is very important in this game )
