This is a serious outdoor coat and the insulation makes it ideal for static activities such as birdwatching, as well as cold weather walking. It's breathable, so one doen't overheat as so often happens with waterproofs, and has a range of pockets to take almost anything. The hood is capacious and fully adkustable. The best coat I've ever owned.

I wanted a coat that was not too short, warm and waterproof. I also wanted plenty of easy pockets to get to as I travel alot by train and on foot. This warm coat delivered especially at this time of year. It fitted very well. Make sure you don't get right size. The coat for me was a medium as I have a 40 inch chest size and I am over 6ft tall.

Great outdoor coat, very warm and well made -as you would expect from Didrickson. Good value.
