Just when you need a new waterproof, one pops up on offer but in M not XL...but never fear my daughter is here. This Columbia jacket is meant to be mens, but it is unisex...honest! It comes in 5 sizes (S-XXL) is and 6 colours (blue, black / graphite, blue / navy, grey / red, green / lime and red / orange). This is made of polyester, comes in at just 299g, is fully machine washable on cool and can be put in the tumble dryer.The coat itself is fully weatherproof, the rain just runs off in droplets and unlike other waterproof jackets this is fully lined with a breathable teabag type mesh which also insulates the jacket. Never had one of Columbia’s clothing range before but I am very impressed with this coat. Had to wait a while for it to rain so I could test out how efficient it would be, and it turns out it’s fantastic In the rain with water just running straight off the material. You must watch out when you get indoors though as water will just easily drip from the coat onto the floor usually making a small puddle.The coat has three pockets, two generous ones on the outside and one inner pocket which is great for a phone. The jacket is lightweight and very well made.If I have one negative thing to say about it, it would be the hood. It seems when I move my head forward and back again the hood moves back and stays back meaning slowly my head becomes exposed,

This is a highly waterproof jacket with sealed seams. I remember once going into a high street retailer of outdoor clothing and the sales assistant told me one key difference between 'water resistant' and 'waterproof' clothing - and that waterproof clothes need to have sealed seams, which is especially important in heavy rain or if you are wearing a rucksack over the coat which would pull on the seams.The arms of the jacket are fairly long. The chap I got this for is 5 feet 10 inches tall with a 39 inch chest and the arms were perhaps a half inch or inch too long for him. Thankfully, there are velcro cuffs on the sleeves, so by adjusting them,

Columbia are one of the best suppliers of outdoor clothing in the market today and this light weight jacket adds another item to a very their very successful range.The jacket is comfortable ware and very well made. The inbuilt lining fits well, with a hood and Velcro cuff fastening on the sleeves for those inclement days. The jacket if well weather proofed.The jacket would be usable throughout the year although perhaps not in the depth of Winter or the middle of Summer.Nice one Columbia.

after several searches on the site and the product, I decided to buy! The product suffered delays at customs, but I received the right jacket. It is beautiful, comfortable and really waterproof, I highly recommend the product!

Great rain gear for backpacking or just walking the dog. Colors are bright, fit is nice, and lots of pockets. Super light!

The expected. Fabric very pleasant to the touch and light. The hood is fair, but it passes me in almost all of them.

Excellent jacket, good fit & fully waterproof. I got a M that fits like a L which is perfect for me.
