I’ve had a set of these pliers (exactly the same material - steel ) but just not VDE, for over 30 years. I can say, hand on heart and I would swear on a stack of bibles that other than oiling the pivot points (fulcrum) that they are as good today as the day I picked them up in the last real hardware shop we had then ! I’ve never had to sharpen the cutting edges, file the teeth on any of the pliers to give them an edge again, they just keep going and going - the lettering has long worn off the handles (shows they get constant use !) but that’s about it !!Amazing tools - so good that I’d like to buy another set, but the ones I have are so well made I couldn’t justify it.

Excellent set and considerably cheaper than a big name diy store. As an electrician these are used every day. Was slightly apprehensive about buying online as i was unsure if they were real or fake but i can safely say they are the real deal. Insulated tools are essential for any electrician and these are very durable and hard wearing. Highly recommend.

Expensive but the Germans are, in my opinion, the only country which which now produces top quality tools.I wouldn't buy any other these days.

As a self employed sparks ive stuck by ck cutters and pliers for years and they never let me down. Good quality, durable and not too expensive.

Exspensive but worth every penny. Even myself have been caught out cutting the wrong wire and youll still be portected.

I have that set for about two years now and I use them 5 days a week still sharp and works like new.
