If you're reading the reviews about how these run a size large and are going to order a medium as a result, STRONGLY consider getting the medium TALL. I bought this for just casual wearing (not doing physical labor or wearing over 3+ layers). I just wanted a nice looking and warm jacket, so I got a medium so it wasn't overly big on me. I'm 5'10" and about 190 lbs but I have a longer torso so I'm usually a large. The medium fit me well in the shoulders. However, the sleeve and body length were too short. Whenever I bend my arms too much or reached up for something, my forearms and stomach were exposed which made me not want to move around a lot in it and I got in the habit of pulling the jacket down to try and make it longer.

Fits perfectly and phenomenal quality as expected from Carhartt. Intially I ordered an xtralarge but was far too wide in the chest and waist. Thankfully, returning it was a breeze with amazon. Hopefully this jacket will last me a lifetime.As stated, I ordered the wrong size even after trying these jackets on at mark's. Im about 210lbs, 5..8 height, 36 waist and have pretty broad shoulders with a 42 1/2 chest measurement. The large tall fits like a glove, not too loose, not too tight and still has enough room for layers without feeling constricted. The tall size adds an extra two inches in the back which is perfect for. My height, i found the regular sizes to be much too short.

If you're tall and slender like me, it's best to go for the medium tall. It also has room for layers for in the winter. It works very well as an exterior shell to break the wind and provide some insulation in the winter, but like with all coats, layering in these conditions is a must. The zipper is very high quality and has no problems. The hood is tall enough, but more narrow so as to not allow too much wind into the sides. It's definitely a must have for people working outside in colder temperatures, and would also make a great jacket on its own for fall and spring.

I was very pleased to find this Carharrt jacket for such a good price. Only paid about 1/3 of the original MSRP. Can't bearmt that. Comrmes in a great variety of colors. Overall, brtween the price, quality and name recognition I would say this is a five star puchase. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wgo asked me.

The XXL-T is perfect for a big and tall guy. The length of the arms is spot on and the length of the jacket over the waist is perfect. I use the heck out of this jacket during hunting season and had to buy a second one because my son kept taking mine. Can't go wrong with Carhartt - period.

The fit is good and the coat is warm. I work outside and need something warm but not bulky. This coat fits the bill. I only gave it 4 stars because the inside pockets are up too high and make it uncomfortable when you use them. Other than that it's a good coat.

I am six foot seven and broad shouldered so things that fit me are hard to find. This is fine, maybe a little too big in the lower body but allows for a jumper under the coat. Arm length great. Quality great. Typical Carhartt in that respect. Very pleased.

5' 10'" 140 lbs ordered a Med. Tall. Happy with the length of the jacket and the arm length. I work outside, wind does not get through the jacket. Roomy enough to layer under underneath this jacket, but I don't feel like I am swimming in it.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it!! It blocks the wind without compromising the style and comfort. Warm and comfortable with out the heavy bulk. Very please with this product and timely delivery. I highly recommend it.

This is perfect!! Fit him perfectly and year later it still looks and wears and washes like it’s brand new. Never will I go to marks again and spend so much this is the exact same jacket for half the cost

I needed that medium winter coat, to combat the lower temps in the 30's and winds. I ordered the XX Large in the Tall size. I normally wear XX Tee-Shirts.

This is a very nice jacket. This is the first big and tall jacket that has actually been long enough. The person it was bought for is 6'7".

Excellent fit and quality. My son is very tall and slim. This coat has nice long sleeves and isn't bulky. So happy with our purchase!
