Great colour - nice solid black rather than the sort of slight washed black that's available and the metal buttons are all nice and dark too, they're not quite black but still dark adding to the premium look in my personal opinion. Look's great with a t shirt and pair of jeans. The jacket is made in China (what isn't nowadays!) and I can confirm that the quality is top notch with a decent, quality weight to it. I also can confirm that the red tab on the chest pocket definitely says Levis on mine. Another reviewer's jacket has a tab with just an R in a circle on it so I did wonder what I'd get but mine certainly says Levis as expected. Apparently some Levis garments do just have this R on the tab,they're still genuine Levis products though. While shopping around for this jacket I could never seem to find a definite answer to the size/fit of the Medium with some people claiming it was too small, some saying it was too big and some saying it was perfect! All I can say is that I'm a slim build, 5'9" tall and the Medium is the exact fit I wanted. It's snug when buttoned up and I certainly wouldn't get away with it being any smaller, so I guess in general the jacket does run rather small. I also could never seem to find a definite answer regarding the sleeve length so I thought I'd clearly state the length of the sleeve on my Medium jacket in case it helps others in future. From the shoulder (where the shoulder joins the sleeve) to the cuff is 65cm. Finally I thought I'd mention the smell which a lot of people mention. There is an unavoidable smell which comes from the strong dye needed for this colour. The best description is a sort of match/sulphur smell. It's certainly not as strong as I was expecting after reading many comments and you can only smell it if you put your nose right up to the jacket, however I'll attempt to neutralize it. There's lot's of tips on the net on how to do this and I'm first going to try wrapping the jacket up with two large bags of activated charcoal to see if the charcoal absorbs the smell. I don't want to risk washing the jacket just yet and potentially losing some of the deep black colour so I'll give this a try first, but honestly, it's nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. If you're after a classic Levis denim jacket in a really nice deep black colour you really can't go wrong with this. Hope this helps.

I’m a petite girl but wanted a jacket that wasn’t tight and short like women’s jackets often are, so I opted for this one in a XS based off other jackets I have by Levi’s and it’s fits as I expected: nice and form fitting but has enough room for a hoodie and cuts just below the waist. It’s got 4 external pockets and 2 large internal pockets but the fabric doesn’t feel like the denim compared to old Levi’s jackets, more just like a thick stiff cotton without the slight silky feel, but that may have something to do with the dye as it is jet black. It does also smell chemically as other reviewers said, but people have also said this on the Levi site along with comments how the jackets are now thinner,so again, that may just be something to do with the colour Berkman.Other reviewers here have also stated that they are fake because there was an ‘R’ on the red tab with no Levi’s written, this is something that happens for roughly every 100 jackets and tabs with just the ‘R’ on can be found in the Levi’s stores. Thankfully mine had the full tab as I would have been a bit upset even though it’s genuine. The buttons are matte black which may seem fake but are also seen in Levi’s stores. I don’t know how the colour would fare in the wash but I plan to avoid that if possible as all black denim will inevitably fade eventually.So overall, it’s what I expected. I’m sad that the quality is not the same anymore but time to move on. It’s hard to find jet black denim jackets and the one on here is is relatively cheap.

Nice deep blue darkest blue Levi make, or should is say "Levy" (UK) pronunciations.? I may be slightly thinner because it's darker blue and costs more, but not that thinner just right specially for summer.Finding rinse blue in matching g trousers may be harder, and Levy's si÷ chart in trousers is like rocket science to some people, they have W32-36L, W36-36L ect means legnth, if you are confused, i will explain and rook me a while to decode that U2 heading my way in West London Here goes If you are around 6 foot , or 6 foo,1 inch you will need a 36 inch Legnth W36, L36, Yes indeed it's have notice Levi even do odd numbers like 35 waist and 33, ect. Thanks for this Levi.Do you like it when Levi show yiu how to stop the blue fading? it's a real crack up they quote from there labs, "Don't wash the this go for six months" and wash inside out so as not to rub the indigo blue of rubbing against other cloths, and i would add put them on time saver short wash because the due will fade leaving it on long wash. They might be pulling your leg about not washing them for six ones, As they will be well out of fasion maybe with in 12 weeks to some people, I did notice Levy do not sell there own indigo blue dye to make your trousers look new. Indigo just means "Indian" They use to use it for all thing , including tattoos In the Indian Continent. Originally I tried different sizes of this jacket at the store, so I knew I was an 2XL. If you want to know your size, I'm 46L in Blazers. I do slightly fit the XL, but I cannot perform a hugging motioning that particular size.The jacket is everything as expected to be like wearing a pair of jeans but for the upper half of your body. It's nothing to really keep warm, as I'm well aware of that fact from the beginning. It works very well with a thin hoodie that they also sell at a Levi store or a button down shirt.I'm no biker, but if you want an alternate to wearing a leather jacket and not have the extensive motorcycle gear, it would be this and probably a spine protector.The jacket is thin denim,which is like jeans. I suggest trying one out at a store before ordering online. At stores you might find this particular jacket going for $90+, but here it's much cheaper. When I was younger they were cheaper, so this jacket doesn't change but the price will.

The jacket itself is lovely, good quality, colour accurate to the photo.The sizing is a slight issue on this one, the XL is really very wide. If you're bigger around the waist this could be ok, however. Otherwise, it will be baggy. If you're a slimmer person, I would go for the size Large for sure. On the XL there's plenty of room in the chest and arms too, so layering underneath shouldn't be a problem at all. The sleeves could be just a touch longer but it's still ok as it is, the length is fine no problems there.So overall, if you're a bigger person and you want a looser fitting the XL could be good. If you're slimmer and want a more fitted look, go for Large.

Based on the sizing guide I purchased a medium size jacket rather than the large that I would otherwise have bought. When it arrived I was shocked to discover that it was too small for me. Amazon were great and replaced the item with a Large size in no time at all and with no fuss, they arranged for the item to be picked up by courier at no cost to me. The courier even gave me a one hour timeslot in which they would pick up the garment which was very useful.The jacket is just what I wanted, good quality and the Large size fits me perfectly (I'm a chest size 40-42 inches by the way).

I bought this jacket because I thought it would be a very good in between too cold and cold. I go to school in Rochester, NY, so we run through all the different colds there are.The shoulder width was a little smaller than I expected, so getting the jacket on is a bit of a challenge. But once it is on, it feels really nice and warm.The jacket is very stiff, I'm not sure if it will go away with time, so getting the buttons to close takes longer than I wish to spend time on.Another downside is that it is a died denim jacket, so IT WILL STAIN YOUR OTHER CLOTHES.

I've always been a huge fan of Levis, and this was a lovely jacket, great value at £47.50. Unfortunately, what some have said is true: make sure you go a size larger. I'm 5'11, 13 stone with a solid build, often a medium/sometimes a large. Based on the size guide, I thought a medium would fit; however, doing up the buttons made me feel somewhat strangled. Great jacket, but always go for the larger size. Amazon accepted my return immediately and my refund was complete in under 24 hours. I subsequently ordered a slightly different Levis jacket in a large. All good!

I thought hard about whether to buy this jacket, having read the reviews, some of which were negative about the quality. I'm a women's size 18-20 and the extra large fits well and, as as it's a man's jacket, I liked the fact that it's a bit longer than one I already have. It's not as heavy denim as the one I had looked at in John Lewis, but that was £30 dearer and I'm quite happy with the quality of the fabric. I washed it after a couple of wears and it has washed and pressed wee, so overall I'm really happy with my purcahse.

This was on sale for 45 quid and I gave it a shot. Im usually Small, sometimes Medium. Ordered Small...had to return because it was SMALL! Couldnt even do it up...Im slim and a size 30 waist so Small is gonna be for teenagers in all honesty. Amazon were fine with refund of course so I then bought a Medium. This was perfect. Not tight but not baggy either and easy to do up with a jumper underneath. Its more a spring/summer jacket but you cant go wrong if its the right price! Had quite a few looks wearing this.

This is a good jacket. Well made and good looking, it's garnered more compliments than anything else I own. My only gripe would be the finishing on the buttons. It's made to look old and tarnished but quickly scrapes off. Seems unnecessary and corny to me.The fit is slightly small, but that's to be expected. The arms are high and slim. If you have very large biceps this definitely won't fit. The jacket when buttoned up also may seem slightly small if you're on the rounder side, but it's not bad.

The first thing I noticed about this item was the large capital E on the red label. At the same time, I checked the photos of the same item on the Levi's website and it appears that this is intentional on this product and so it's unlikely a fake. One of the internal labels is sewn on slightly wonkily however still looks of a genuine quality and so I'd imagine this could have been sourced from the outlet division of Levi's which sells genuine items with minor defects, hence the lower price.

One of the things that cross my mind I when shopping for clothing online,is buying the correct sizie and getting the right quality and fit. In this case however, I needent have worried. This jacket is just perfect. Excellent fit and quality. I am really, really pleased with this purchase. 10 out of 10. I have to mention also that the speed of delivery was just fantastic. I would have been hard pushed to actually physically gone out and got it any quicker from the retailers !

Color was as advertised, size runs true to fit to slightly smaller so if you intend to wear sweaters or hoodies underneath, you might want to size up as you might not be able to button up with heavier garments underneath. I like this classic look\fit jacket and have had several compliments already. If you shop around you’ll find the used or vintage shops are only a few buck less so, I recommend this New one especially if you desire the darker colors like rinse or black.

Great quality, great looking, but I'm 6 ft 3 and pretty slim and this jacket was the best I could do as it's sleeves are ever so slightly too short and the chest is spot on, where as the large is a huge step up and was too big in all the right places, it's a shame there isn't a more gradual step up between medium and large. But I have to say amazon's return system is amazing and the price they have this jacket at is the cheapest I could find by a long shot!
