BLIC has always been an exceptional series, and the 2007 installment is no different. Still streets ahead of the EA series there have been many improvements on the 2005 version. These include far better graphics and animations as well as liscensed players new shots and the world cup tournament layout. However the improvements are almost outwayed by the downsides to the game. One of which is the unexplainable use of unliscensed players for the test and custom odi formats. Also the game is far too easy even on the highest level after a while. You can score at 15 an over after playing a few games, and as well as this there is no stats tracker so you cant find out who is the leading scorer in the world cup or anything like that.

Having played a preview of this game, it looks awesome. There's a huge new range of shots to play, including the sweep, coming down the wicket to the pitch of the ball, and everything looks even more authentic than the 2005 version. All the players look real, and the graphics are generally stunning.Now you can be stumped for miss timing your slogs, and the fielding team can run out the batsmen at either end. This game will have all the authentic kits and player names for 2007, including players like Freddie Flintoff, Ricky Ponting and of course, Brian Lara, but there are many new players who will feature that were not present in the 2005 game, like Ian Bell, Michael Hussey, and of course,

Brian lara 2007 is a arcade type of cricket game non stop fun bowling out or sixes. This time your wicket keeper can catch manualy. And you can throw to both ends. It still could be licensed. But if you had a problem choosing between brian lara and cricket 07 I would go for brian lara.
