I have always enjoyed playing war games.I can remember first playing medal of honour on ps1..Theres been a few since then what,s always caught my eye.The medal of honour series spring to mind.Also recently the call of duty series.But to be honest this title never really got me clicking to find what it was like.To go back to moh i have played all of them completing all of them exept for the current game.To be fair frontline still just gets to first base followed by euro assult.Rising sun? well i enjoyed it because they tried somthing different.It gets a bit boring wiping jerris out every time.Your probably thinking whats this got to do with this title? Well AT LAST we finally got what i think is the perfect war game.Why?

The first thing I noticed about this game was how good the A.I is. It's incredible to the point of unfair. You'll find a good spot, line up some russkies and if you're good enough, enjoy watching the bullet (in bullet-cam mode) enter the guys head (oh yes, it's packed with gore). All of a sudden, his slightly healthier comrades have gone. Swing your scope to the left and you'll just catch a glimpse of them running behind a building. "Nevermind, I'll just wait for them to stick their heads out." A couple of minutes later you'll be wondering what's taking them so long. Suddenly 71 rounds are shot into you from a PPSh-41. Not surprisingly, you're dead and the camera whips behind you.

Overall this game is excellent, it's fun to play, fairly easy to get to grips with but still difficult enough to keep you challenged and interested.It's a sniper game set during the final months of World War Two. You play an OSS agent codenamed 'Eagle Watch' whose mission it is to infiltrate Berlin and prevent the Russians from capturing atom bomb technology from the defeated Germans.The surroundings in the game are mostly ruins with the occasional enemy base thrown in for good measure, you spend the game moving around the city finding targets and blowing them away with your rifle or if you prefer your grenades, machine gun or silenced pistol these are also available. I've always been waiting for a decent game that involves sniping. The idea of stealth, patience and the sweet accomplishment after you get the shot you waited for.Sniper Elite, based on the OSS against the Russians NVKD is probably the best sniper only based game there is out there, based on fact but made fictious it allows for you to get a feel of the atmosphere as it was back then...The sniping itself is fantastic.Unlike most games where you aim in the centre no matter how far away the tango is, and get a clean shot...Here you have to take into account true sniping precautions.Wind, Gravity, Heartbeat and Posture. I bought Sniper Elite a few weeks back. The first thing I want to stress about this game is that, if you are looking for a fast paced, run and gun shoot em up then look elsewhere. Sniper Elite is all about patience, much like sniping basically. The game is set towards the end of WW2, you play an American OSS agent, posing as a German soldier against the Soviet Empire. Your job is to prevent the Russians from gaining access to the secret weapons in and around Germany, the A Bomb being high on the list.The secret of this game is that you must check your surroundings with your binoculars and your scope before you make a move. I was looking for another war game, dont know, wht, just felt like one, then i stumbeld across this, i was unsure at first, thinking that sniping on other games is easy which will make this whole game easy, i was wrong.This is a brilliant game! So realistic, you can turt gravity off and wind off to make it easier if it is just too hard but playing with them on is just so realistic.Other sinpers are great too, one time, i was waiting to shoot some cornal guy, i was undetected, or so i though, lying in scilent wait, then all of a sudden i hear gunshots and dust coming off the walls and floor, i jumped straight back into the ally, slowly started walking out viewing through my scope and again,

Some superb physics are incorporated into this game.The bullet-cam feature of the game is brilliant in itself. It feels so good to actually see the bullet fly in slow motion into the target you fought so tirelessly to get to.There are so many things you can do as your role of sniper. For example, you can lay tripwire grenades to cover your tracks. In fact earlier on today, it was rather funny to be walking along a road and suddenly hear a scream followed by an explosion, only to see "Remote Detonation" appear on screen. You can use many swift and sneaky moves to destroy targets. You can plant some TNT and wait until something passes close to it, then you shoot it so it detonates.

Ive waited ages for a good sniper game on ps2 and finally its arrived.If you fancy a change to the usual 'run around and spray bullets everywhere' games,you know the kind,then you'll love this.its so different to the usual WW2 games.Your an American sniper(typical)and you have to snipe your way through Berlin,you even have real landmarks such as the Reichstag and the Brandenburg gate.the graphics are very good,and the gameplay is also very good.you must concentrate on camouflage,concealment,your fire position,the noise your shot makes,for example if you fire off a round then your going to attract attention,but if your clever and have good timing you can cover the sound of your shot with an

I had the demo of this ages ago and loved it. For some reason I forgot to buy the full game until now. For the price now I would definatley recommend it!One thing i do love about this game is you can play it at a nice relaxing pace-stealth will help you get through the missions. The gameplay itself consists of 3-5 objectives per mission such as clear enemy in a given area, assassinations, destroy strategic points. Missions are varied enough to keep gameplay interesting.You must use stealth and keep your distance from the enemy to make full use and advantage of your sniper rifle. You can also can carry machine guns, pistols, time bombs, grenades, first aid kits etc to help you on your way.

This game is fairly addictive, the story line is a little bit lame, typical your character is an American... Aren't they always? *sigh* anybody would think they were the only special forces in the European War... Anyway American Flag waving aside, it doesnt do a bad job at keeping you entertained. The bullet time slo-mo clips on headshots are quite groovy and will keep you and your friends amused for a few hours. The game itself has plent of missions, a variety of different weapons, with several different sniper rifles, mg42, mp40 (German ones are always the best right?) some good detail on the uniforms of the troops, you encounter plenty of SS and NKVD troops as well as regulars.Where does it fall over?

I'm not a hardcore gamer and played this game mostly in the evenings, just to relax after a long day's work. I found it well designed and addicting, even in the easy mode. Best way to play is with the Wii Zapper or similar game controller with Nunchuk incorporated as it's more comfortable to play. The game itself it's challenging enough to guarantee you stay glued to the screen trying to figure out the best way to approach the targets without being shot at (again, I'm more of a casual player, so I may not have the "finger-skills" of veteran players). The possibility to look at the area map is vey helpful and handy to organize your tactics in each scenario, but the map iteslf is not (rightfully)

I have played many war situation console games but this one was missed when choosing all those other big name War situation games.I don't usually pass judgement on any game when it is played for the very first time as usually the starter level is usually boring or even amaturish.Sniper Elite started in the same way but once through that first level my eyes were opened to how real all the scenes seemed to be.The action is as fast or as slow as you wish to play it out. I would look around the streets that i was fighting the enemy and one particular street i thought i was actually there almost to the point that someone was going to tap me on the shoulder.The explosions and the actual shootings are very real and often graphic,

Top notch cracking game - better gameplay than V2 IMHO. First played it on Playstation 2 then my old XP PC and now on Windows 7 with a 27" monitor which is an outstanding experience.A bit of tweeking to do however for Windows 7 64bit - the game itself loads fine but the Starforce copy protection will prevent your PC restarting when instructed to do so in order to complete the installation of the copy protection files. Windows repair SHOULD automatically uninstall the Starforce files and game installation files and then start as normal. If you've reached this stage there is a LEGITIMATE 'Starforce removal tool' file available (Google it) to remove any traces of these files on your system.Better still before reaching this stage,

i love sniping, i snipe in any game that gives me the oppertunity from classic cod, uo, cod2, cod4 and bf2 to name a few. so when i see a game that is purely for snipers i jump at it.at first glance i wasnt too impressed with the graphics, but graphics dont make a game good....but it helps.the gameplay is pretty good and plent of things to do to keep u occupied, destroying tanks and taking out specific targets.i do feel more could have been done with maps. it is pretty much all ground based, you cant climb buildings or towers for a better vantage point. i didnt like the idea of having to shoot my way through everything. it would have been nice to actually be able to use the stealth side of the game.

i did think a lot to this game as i waited for it looking at reviews and gameplay videos. this is the most weirdest game 2 get used 2 coz its really realistic.like in real life u cant c people for ages till they start shooting.but fair enough coz there is sum unrealistic parts 2 it such as the fact u blow up nearly every tank wit 1 shot or a well placed tnt(unrealistic coz u can so close so easy on watever difficulty ur on witout the tanks shooting u)but the worst thing about this game is it makes all other sniper parts of any other games looks like baby play.ok maybe thats a gud thing but i do love this game apart from the fact it takes ages to go through the levels if u muck up just once and
