This is an awesome seat post. Being the cycling equivalent of a Clydesdale, I really like the security and piece of mind that the oval profile gives me. I also like the fine adjustment you get with the twin bolt cradle. I can get my saddle set up just how I like it without any hassle. I already have the silver version of this seat post on my fixie but had a bit of spare cash so decided to replace it with the black version to match the rest of the bike's components. I had loads of trouble trying to find a retailer in New Zealand that actually stocked a Ø27.2. Really stoked that I've finally managed to get my hands on a one from BikeInn!

light and rigid as can be. love the adjustment mechanism too for tilt. These are kind of ubiquitous on higher end builds for mountain bikes these days, which is a great endorsement. If Yeti, Santa Cruz, and Niner, etc, are including these on XT build kits and XTR, that's pretty much a ringing endorsement.I'm a clydesdale and haven't noticed any flex

Looks cool, absorbs road shock well, but in the end of the day, it's still just a seatpost. Would recommend this if you are doing a nice build, and you want a slick looking ride, but if your just looking for something to put on your beater, you can get something that will function just as well for a fraction of the cost. Still giving it 5 stars.

an excellent seat post I am sure but just a warning not to buy this under the impression that it is suitable for use with a di2 battery. The oval rather than round interior makes insertion of battery impossible. Other than that maybe a little heavy at 259g for the price and I have found Thomson seatposts a bit fidddly for saddle adjustment.

Replaced a 3T Dorico pro seatpost with this one and I've been very happy with it. Looks elegant and Thomson is known for being extremely reliable. Important to note that the setback only actually gives 16mm of offset vs. most other setback posts which are 20 or 25.

It is a Thompson. What more needs to be said. In this era of set back seat posts, this is a great alternative. Really improved my bike fit. The service from Amazon was great-the seat post arrived when they said it would. Very satisfied.

I am rebuilding a 1980-'s bike with 1" seatpost. Most available today are cheap steel and very heavy. This is a quality seat post and, while not as light as the best carbon posts, is ~250 grams. The shipping was on time and well packed.

Best seatpost in the universe. Incredibly easy to make adjustments to the seat angle. Gives my bike a little flare, and it has not shifted out of position since I installed it like alot of single bolt assemblies do.

Quick despatch and delivery even in the current situation. Really like the Thomson seatpost design and appreciate BikeInn stocking the 26.8mm diameter version - it was the only place I could find one.

The silver color finishing and workmanship looks great. The clamp is easy to adjust and it holds the saddle rail securely. Recommend to those who looks for great product with reasonable price tag.

Have both straight and setback posts on several bikes. Am a Clydesdale by some standards so recommend elite series. Put it on and forget about it. Plus its American made.

No better mountain bike post can be had in my opinion... Amazon is the best price I've seen on these anywhere, especially with prime shipping.
