Being an American who loves the Euro sports, it can be frustrating trying to find matches to view, kits to wear, and especially games to play. I have enjoyed the football management games for years and hoped to find a cricket equivalent. International Cricket Captain(ICC) has done the job.ICC has many elements needed to be a 1st Class management game. Choosing your 11 in all three types of cricket, training your squad and developing your youngsters. Playing Durham or NSW to their respective championships, or competing in the T20 or ODI world cups, or playing a test series between Bangladesh and New Zealand in Christchurch all can be enjoyed in ICC.You can view and adjust every ball of the game or auto play by over and just watch the score accumulate depending on your time.Graphics are not perfect but are definitely more than adequate. And you don't need be connected to the internet to play like many games out there.What ICC lacks is many domestic sides. The football management games include thousands of squads. ICC you may only play with the 1st class clubs from England and Australia as well as the Test playing nations. This omits all the Indian, NZ, WI, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, S African, and Bangladeshi sides. This also omits the Scottish, Irish, Canadian, Dutch, and the Zimbabwe ODI teams in the World cup. What makes this even more odd is that all the players that compromise these clubs are available to sign for your English or Aussie squads.All in all I have found ICC to be a solid game that has already taken many hours of sleep, initiated a few arguments with my wife and caused me to yell foolishly at the computer.A 4* game that would be 5 if all the 1st class nations were included.

This is a good game. You get to manage English county teams, Australian state teams and international sides. The graphics and sound quality are excellent. Commentary in the matches is from Jonathan Agnew. I would personally prefer Christopher Martin-Jenkins and Geoff Boycott. They are better. As with cricket it is a slow game but it is most enjoyable. There is lots to learn too and it will take the game player a while to get used to.One annoying aspect of this game is that the budget is very low in Season 1 so you can't make massive changes to your squad. You get the chance to sign up - out of contract domestic players, youth players and international players.In season 1 it is probably not a good idea to sign up a top player such as Ricky Ponting. His wages would consume all of the counties available funds. Another minus point is that you can't bowl bouncers in matches.To sum up- International Cricket captain 2010 is a good game but needs a couple of improvements.

This is a great game for all cricket lovers and has a few improvements from previous editions with the addition of the ICC 2020 world cup and the opportunity to sign overseas player separately for the 20/20 and the entire season. Basically if you're looking for a good cricket game on PC then this is definitely one to pick.

This game just got better. For those who have followed it for many years, you just have to buy it. Keeps me addicted for hours when i play.
