Finally an affordable range of eye brow products which have realistic colours! I have been waiting to see a brand come out with something like this for such a long time. It is usually the case that affordable brow pencils have a very warm tone and end up making your brows look orange. This range all have very natural to cool tones, making them easily match the colour of natural eyebrows.The pencil itself has a very thin nib, making it easy to control where you put the product. It is easy ti draw in little fine hairs which mimic natural eyebrow hairs.It has a soft texture so that you don't have to press hard but its not so creamy that you will end up with too much product stuck in your brows.

I usually like Bourjois beauty products and this is no exception … Bourjois Sourcil Precision Eye Pencil Blond Fonce (suitable for dark blondes and light browns).This pencil style applicator is of a standard length and consists of two separate products in one. An eyebrow pencil with an integrated eyebrow brush which has been incorporated into the lid.The colour of the pencil is quite a mid blonde brown and the texture is not too soft yet it applies easily and evenly. The brush consists of five groups of black nylon tufts which you can use to comb through your eyebrows before and after applying the pencil.I am fifty seven years of age and do not have the inclination to style my eyebrows (unlike my young teenager daughter)

This is a slim pencil, slightly darker than the crayon, with a grey plastic push-on cap that doubles as an eyebrow brush. It’s a traditional crayon, so you’ll need a sharpener to keep a point on the tip. The crayon is quite soft, and produces a diffuse but intense line about a millimetre wide. Despite being soft, it is a bit crumbly. The brush makes this a handy two-in-one for a small bag. It’s a stiff but flexible brush, about 10 millimetres long and with five tight bundles of bristles. It does a good job of getting an unruly brow into a neat arc.At £3.89 (July 2017), it is a lot more expensive than the equivalent Rimmel Professional crayon at £2.64, which also has a brush cap.

This blonde pencil in a medium blonde which works well for most blondes and persons with light brown hair, though if you're more of a white blonde, there is a lighter shade that would be more suitable. The pencil is soft but not too much so, allowing one to pencil in definition while looking natural. The eyebrow brush on the end of the lid has firm bristles that allow for easy grooming and blending. if you place the cap on the opposite end of the pencil, not only will you not misplace the lid, but you can easily flip the pencil about to groom, pencil, then blend, without having to faff about- a simply flip of the pencil is all you'll need to do. Don't be misled by the "blond" label. This is Blond Foncé as in Dark Blonde so it's too dark for Icelandic/cream blondes and perfect for my tones of light brunette with blonde/caramel highlights.If you want you can choose to spend a lot more money on brow products but I think that you can make a cheaper pencil like this work just as effectively if you use a light touch, brush the brows beforehand, focus on the arch, outer edge and any areas which look sparse. Remember to stand back from the mirror and see the whole picture - less is more! Finish off with a setting brow gel and this pencil will last most of the day.The brush is a bonus although I'd prefer a spoolie versus a bristle brush.

This is a brilliant design. It is so handy having thr make up brush attached to the lid of this eyeliner, so this is really two products in one.This is a lovely shade of dark brown.I love that it is a sharp nip end when sharpened, I can then draw fine lines that replicate my own natural eyebrow hairs. This blends in nicely and looks natural.With the brush I brush my hairs upwards so I can clearly see any gaps in my natural hairs that need filled in.At under £5 this is a fair price for this 2 in 1 product.This would make a great stocking filler , or work secret santa gift, as it is inexpensive, looks and works great.I recommend it, another good item from the Bourjois range.

What a good idea – an eyebrow pencil with the brush on the end. Why hasn't anyone thought of that before. The brown pencil is nice quality. It's an attractive mid-brown (not red toned) ideal for the fair-haired. It goes on nicely and blends if you need it to. This is great to travel with because it obviates the need to pack a separate brush. The brushes only tiny with line of five clumps of bristles, but if you don't have huge eyebrows this works fine. In fact, I quite like tiny brushes for applying eyebrow cosmetics.My tip of the day: push the brush onto the other end so this gives you a handle for it. And then just flip it back and forth for application .:-) (Auntie Barbar)

The Bourjois Sourcil Precision Eye Pencil Blond Fonce is a great quality product that works well.The defining eyebrow pencil blends easily with natural eyebrows keeping them looking natural while enhancing them assuming you choose the right colour, the blond Fonce colour being suitable for blonde to light brown coloured brows, though it does have hints of red. The crayon is really easy to use, not too soft or hard and can blend with a finger, though the brush on the lid is there to shape it better.The soft brush in the lid is an interesting idea, making combing and shaping easy, but it can get dirty unless stored somewhere safe as it doesn't have a lid itself.

One of the better eyebrow pencils I have sampled. I am and have been for years a devotee of Bourjois make up products as they are top quality at very reasonable prices.This is a defining eyebrow pencil that is simple to apply and has carnauba wax in the pencil which makes it easy to achieve a professional and sculpted look. My eyebrows suffer from over plucking as was the fashion back in the day so need all the help I can get to achieve a more fashionable look without resorting to tattooing which is costly. I love the brush that is incorporated into the lode which tidies up my eyebrows first. My eyebrows are light brown and this colour is perfect.

After being poorly I lost my eyebrows and although growing back they are sparse - so an eyebrow pencil has become important to me in re-creating my eyebrows.This one is very, very good - it is fine so I can be more accurate when applying it and build it up gradually. The colour I have is noisette and is a good match for me and even better a more natural look as opposed to a "drawn on" look. One of it's ingredients is carnauba wax so the texture is soft but firm which makes applying it even easier.The design of a brush on the cap is excellent and I have been popping this in my handbag so that I can touch up during the day if I need to.

I love Bourjois products and think they are excellent value for money. This also is good but I have given it limited stars due to it needing sharpened. With new technology, I think it is unnecessary now for pencils to need a sharpener as it is a bit of a nuisance.The pencil does make a good job of the eyebrows and although this is blonde, it is surprisingly dark and very natural looking. It is easy to apply and is quite firm so that you can draw in a good shape. I don't sport these modern huge eyebrows but just use a pencil to fill in some baldy bits and this does an excellent job of this.

The colour on this eyebrow pencil is pretty good, Blond Force, and it does blend in well to your brow area. It highlights dark brows well too, which is great for lightening your eyes when used in the right way. The pencil sharpens well and does not seem to break or become scratchy with use. It does sometimes flake a little on application if the point is too sharp, and it can be easy to over apply as it is quite strong in intensity. The brush on the cap is passable, I personally prefer a spoolie brush for brow work but at least there is a brush available for those who may use it.

I had never used an eye pencil before, and was curious to try. I went for a blonde one as my hair is dark blonde. This pencil turns out to be a tad to light for my winter brows, but is likely spot on in summer, when they bleach nearly into invisibility. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this works, even with hairs that are slightly darker than the pencil shade. It subtly shapes the brows without being obvious. My significant other did not notice it was there at all, it blended so nicely. Surprisingly pleased, and will keep using.

Bourjois is a good, mid priced range of make up with a high quality finish for a tolerable price. I have been told they are a Chanel diffusion line. Whether this is true or not, I don't know, but I do know I've never yet had a Bourjois product I've not been happy with, and this is no exception. It's a decent, neutral colour that goes on well and lasts. It has a handy comb on the lid and it's easy to sharpen and not too hard when you use it. I'm happy with the brown, and will be buying myself a black one now I know they're good.

I think this is a lovely eyebrow pencil.I ordered it for the usual reasons - a few grey hairs in my brows plus the need, in 2017, to have a 'well-defined' look as part of my makeup.The colour goes on nicely, and blends in well with my natural colour which is actually a darker brown. However, as you get older I think it's better not to try to mimic the jet black eyebrows of your youth.The brush is particularly helpful for acheiving a 'natural' look after application.Great price, great product as far as I'm concerned.
