I'm a sparks, so this is good for containment work and cutting stud (a get out of jail free card like a multi tool), much cheaper than buying a Dewalt or Hitachi stud cutter. As long as you have 4Ah batteries for this tool it lasts a good while (make sure you buy plenty of disks for this). Lastly because of the size and shape, it is so easy to use. So far the most used tool of my Bosch 12 volt range of tools. (I have the Vacuum GAS 12V Cordless Dust Extractor, the GDR 12 V-EC Cordless Impact Driver, the GSR 12V-15 FC FlexiClick Drill Driver, the Bosch GST 12v Cordless 12V Jigsaw and lastly the Bosch GOP 12 V-28 12v Brushless Multi-Cutter

Really good versatile little tool. Seems well made and powerful for such a small cutting tool/grinder. Only real downsides are it's pretty expensive and they don't provide you with many disks in the pack 1 carbide multi cutting blade for general use wood,plastic etc, and 2 metal cutting disks. Bonus use for the multi cutting blade is for large cardboard boxes, it actually makes the job of disposing cardboard fun. Batteries do die quite quickly but not really that big of an issue if you have spares.

Brilliant tool. Ive used it a dozen times plus and Ive only had it for a short space of time. A very deceptively powerful tool in such a small 12V package. Need to chop the head off a bolt you can either use a junior hacksaw which is a drag or use this which chops M10/M12 bolts with ease. Means you don't have to get the 115mm 240V angle grinder out every time. This does the job for all those smaller tasks. Buy one.

Fantastic bit of kit, wish I’d bought it year’s ago, fits in my tool bag and takes care of all my grinding/cutting needs.Lasts most of the day on one 3Amp battery.I mainly use it for cutting boiler flues and 10mm threaded rod.You just have to be a bit gentle.The blades last ages and are Very cheap on Amazon.It’s very well made and feels good in use.Buy one you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent small grinder. I have already used it to take off rusty nail head's that were impossible to shift and it did an excellent job. I am impressed with it's ease of use. It's so light and manoeuvreable.

Compact grinder as kitchen bathroom fitter it's been brilliant cutting screws metal fittings and tiles and plastic saves on many tools inspired me to buy entire 10.8 range and I have.

As a heating engineer I bought this to cut flue pipes with, using a 4.0AH battery it does the job well, fast and I'm very impressed with it. Every engineer should have one

Works brilliantly and handy size and works well in tight spaces to say cut off exhaust bolt or a pipe thro that you can only just reach by 1 hand

This is a really excellent grinder its size and weight are making it a favourite over my 18v Ryobi

OK for bits of jobs the guard stops you getting really close but it's still a great little tool.

Really easy to handle with one hand. Much safer to use than my 18v Dewalt. smooth and Safe
