This blue range is the professional range which coincide with my blue range battery. I initially bought the wrong green range cordless sander and I had to return it as it was not compatible with my battery. Lesson well learned. There is quite a significant in price between the green range and blue range. Fair enough one is the professional range but I feel that it was significantly more expensive than the green one and they do the exact same job. That said, it is still a good product and sands effortlessly for when I am doing up my house which I have just bought. I does feel sturdy and will last long which is a comfort. However,

Really good sander, needed to sand a celling after removing loads of wallpaper from it, so wanted a cordless one not to be getting stuck with a cord all the time, as has happened in the past, found this on amazon for a great price as I already had two of the batteries for this from my drill so decided on this model, absolutely brilliant, really good dust collection from its small filter, also it light, another great thing about it is you can use Velcro sand paper or orandry paper as it has clips to hold it in place so best of both worlds, you can also change the base size to cove different sanding jobs, really good wood recommend it.

First and foremost this is a great piece of kit and the benefit of not having extension leads and cables is a godsend especially when covering a large and/or awkward area.The only downsides are that 1) The dust extractor isn't the easiest to remove at times 2) It seems to cut out every so often regardless of battery charge (using Bosch batteries) and certainly doesn't seem to be overheating.The only other issues is with the product description. At the time of purchase is seemed like the option without the L-Boxx still came with the alternative sanding plates, this is not the case!!!

This is a great tool for sanding old paint off woodwork, the only problem that I have found with it is that is a bit unbalanced if you have any sort of battery 3ah or over which you need the tool won't sit level and keeps trying to tip backwards which can be a pain when trying to lightly sand a flat surface.

Good for those jobs where leads are an encumbrance such as up ladders and in confined spaces. Very effective and lasts well with 4ah battery. Would have liked provision to tie a landyard also sanding sheet clips could be of better design. Will not replace corded version on the bench.

ive just wrote off my second making sander on this job.....got a bosch sander next day....last whole day on 5ah battery.its realy efficient and easy to use....hopefully I won't write it off in few days time.it seems to be way more robust than normal main powered sanders

Changing pads was tricky I had to get a joiner to show me there’s a screw driver in packaging look closely don’t use any other bit as these screws are keyed I bought it as it’s cordless and triangle and square pad as there only round cordless sanders in top names on market

Another great product from Bosch, I cannot fault any of the equipment I've had from the manufacturer, well built easy to use and great that it uses the same 18v system as my drills so I don't have to buy another battery

Great quality and light weight. Ideal for smaller jobs or working at height. I would recommend using the smaller 2Ah batteries, as anything larger makes it feel a little heavy and unbalanced.

Worth adding to your tool kit if you already have Bosch professional 18v. Bear in mind it does chew through the battery power so if your sanding a lot you will need a few batteries.

The second of my Bosch purchases. This was delivered as expected - well packaged, on time and to the expected place. The product was complete, undamaged and worked with no issues

Use this sander quite a lot, and so do my colleagues. We all like it. The reason I gave 4 stars is the switch. We all have problems turning it on and off.

I purchased this to replace an 18v crappie Ryobi, now all my cordless are Bosch Blue, can't fault them....

Option of Velcro sanding sheets is a bonus, switch position is a bit awkward when turning it off
