This is a tool that will withstand constant use by the full time working craftsman, the drill is easy to use, the controls are in the right place for the average hand, it can be used by left and right handed people. The chuck is positive and holds well without having to be over tightened. The hammer drill facility will work well up to 10mm holes in concrete block or brick, larger than that it will drill but I prefer to use a heavier drill for larger holes. This drill will insert 100mm screws into softwood without pilot holes. This is the second one of these robust series drill I have had, the first one lasted 6 years before it failed, 6 years and many thousands of screws later.

This may seem expensive but the saying "you get what you pay for" is true!very robust drill not too heavy and has a lot of power.The drill comes with various settingstorque/speed hammer/drill.I have used many different drills where the hammer setting just isn't that good. This one however just sounds evil and that's because it is! I use this drill on very hard stone walls when using the standard drill function I get to a stage where i can go no further I switch to the hammer function and can punch through almost anything. Its not as punchy as an sds drill but you can't go far wrong with it!I have used this drill on ceramics, tiles, brick,

This is a direct replacement for my current combi which is the same part number. I thought that when opened it was the wrong product but it has just moved on and been improved. It is shorter now but with the same power and torque in a smaller package. My last combi gave up after 10 hard years of use so why would i go anywhere else. These are tough powerful combi's which do everything you ask of them day after day, looking forward to another decade of use.

This is the strongest and most powerful of the 18v GSB’sHad one before but abused it big time, like stirring tile adhesive and drilling out Post Crete for fence posts, steel chuck too

Very pleased with this machine, does the work very easily, supported by a 5.0Ah, very handy as well.
