Took a bit of getting used to, as long as you apply enough pressure, then this is a good item, it was much smaller than I expected it to be, I used to for the kitchen surface, and for a table top, it did save me time compared to sanding by hand, and the sandpaper that came with it, literally just sticks onto the foot, Velcro style, and stays put, which makes very easy changing.I had just hired an industrial sander for the kitchen floors, and edges, and so finished off the corners, and radiator areas well with this little toy looking sander in comparison, saying that, it was up to the job, and the little sawdust holder is very small, and worked.So, yes, I would recommend it.It's not up to big jobs,

I bought this after reading couple of views and have to admitt that not disoppointed at all.Easy to use for a first timers like me.The only drawback is that the griper which grips the sand paper is hard to use in teh first instance but once you get used to this, it pretty simple. Also buy the sand paper carefully because i did not find the sand paper roll working well with the sander. The sand paper which come with sander are perfect

Well built feels good in the hand. Plenty of power when you need it variable speed is a nice bonus very handy. Velcro pads stick well and the clamping system is straight forward and secure for those times when you choose to cut your own sandpaper and use that. I wanted the 1/3 sheet size and this will do the job nicely. Cool case came with it too.

Replaced same model that has been so useful over many years but which has now given up. If you want a sander for light to medium duty, this will meet your needs. What is happening with Amazon delivery times? This was a very extended delivery time. Maybe I have been spoiled by the excellent and rapid delivery from eBay vendors

Cheapest one I found online. Excellent service. Arrived super fast and will be brilliant for job I need.I'm surprised after using mmy old staple gun how easy this one is to use. I have slight arthritis in my hands yet can still pull the trigger to activate the gun, plus it's lightweight too. Spot on.

I use a lot of sanders looking after a classic wooden boat, this Sander will be very useful, takes hook and loop but also normal 1/3 sheets. Only drawback is it does not accept my vacuum hose to minimise dust but the integral filter is ok but not perfect. Great value and a quality product.

I didn't want spend a fortune as this will only be needed very occasionally. But I sanded down all our garden furniture successfully. It doesn't got into all the nooks and crannies, but I wasnt doing a precision job. So suited my purpose well. Not too heavy.

Same model replacement for one which with a lot of use has finally given up. Dust collector soon clogs up, but easily emptied/blown out at least it is doing it's job!

A really nice easy to use workshop tool. It's use makes gives old a professional look. A nice system for sandpaper replacement with a pot away box. V

picked this item as black&decker are noted for their quality &reliable products.never had any problems with b&d products or spares when required.

Love it. Works brilliantly on wood leaving a fine surface for painting. Causes some dust that the bag didn't catch but small complaint really.

Capable and lightweight, it’s been ideal for some quite hard sanding back on interior doors. Good value purchase.

This sander is a great product at a very reasonable price. B & D products are as good as any others
