I was looking for a reasonably priced 1440p monitor for primarily office work and creative uses, with the scope for some occasional gaming. It performs well with the pre-calibrated sRGB preset, and I find the size and resolution to be somewhat ideal for a mix of programming, imaging work and after hours gaming therefore I have purchased another.Given the price I was not expecting much from this monitor, though I would take some offence to the '10 bit' claim in the title, this is an 8-bit panel and does not support HDR, nor should I expect it to fare well at this anyway with the 350cd/m2 rating. Taking into account the obvious limitations given the specs however, this is a good deal and I was pleasantly surprised at the colour reproduction when using the sRGB preset and the overall brightness and backlight uniformity, which had me worried. There were also no dead pixels. In terms of features, the monitor does have speakers built in, they are really not good, they go reasonably loud but it is just a piercing mess with no substance to it as you might expect. There is a 4-port USB 3.0 hub built in, which is very nice to see on a budget monitor like this, though some may overlook it, this feature is somewhat of an expectation the field of graphic design and colour critical applications. Whilst in essence I doubt this monitor will be taken seriously in that context, it is a nice touch. It is an IPS panel, so viewing angles are good with minimal colour shift, though in dark views you can make out an orange/blue hue that shifts as you turn your head. Overall contrast and black levels are average at best, compared to more high end monitors the black levels leave a lot to be desired, but if you're not a professional this still sits comfortably above the somewhat garbage high refresh rate 'gamer' displays that are so often recommended. On the other hand, 75Hz would have been a nice addition over the 60Hz this is capable of, but it is one of the few choices for a 1440p at the 25" form factor, which for me sealed the deal.Honestly I feel if you genuinely want a display for imaging and graphic design, there are wiser ways to spend your money. The colour reproduction is good enough, but the black levels and overall featureset position this as a high-end consumer monitor that happens to be sRGB conformant, which is honestly not a big achievement these days. All considered, I knew what I was buying and it fits the job perfectly hence why I've bought another. If you truly want a professional-calibre display you will simply have to spend more.

I purchased this monitor as the external display of my iMac 27 late 2015. The color profile of PD3200U matches those of iMac quite well and I don't need to perform any special adjustment. While 4k resolution on 32 in monitor (about 139 PPI) is not as good as 5k iMac (about 217 PPI), it is perfectly acceptable and text of all font sizes seems clear and smooth to my eyes. In fact, it's way better than the 34 in Ultrawide QHD monitor (about 100 PPI, resolution of 3440x1440) - that is the reason I return my LG 34UM88 after 2 days of usage and bought this monitor after another round of study. I think this is a perfect form factor for productivity. The PD3200U is well constructed, the stand is excellent (solid and very adjustable). I am not professional graphic designer or photographer thus are not able to comment on the color accuracy or whether the monitor is perfect (zero dead pixel or low/no light leakage, etc). It is just perfectly comfortable to my eyes and easy to setup in all aspects. I think it is one of the best price/performance 32 in professional monitor. There are only two weaknesses: (1) it is not a flat glass/screen design (such as those monitors from LG and some other manufacturers), the rims are protruded. (2) common to most/all currently available 32in 4k monitors, the max brightness of PD3200U is only about 350 lux and possibly closer to 320 lux in real usage according to expert's review (iMac 27 late 2015 is about 445 lux!). So the monitor does look dimmer than the iMac sitting next to it. Having said that, most Mac users know that nothing is quite comparable to Apple's screens. I hope the technology will get better at the same price point in a few years. Well done, BenQ.Just one additional remark: this monitor doesn't work with the Apple's thunderbolt 2 cable (keeps saying no signal detect). The bundled DP to miniDP cable works just fine.

I am very happy with this purchase.I use this screen for home office work and also for photo editing work. this screen can control two computers at the same time, I connect my office and home pcs (few games) with single keyboard and mouse. easy switch between two computers. Also - I can connect my external microphone, webcam, speakers all to this monitor and also I can switch it between pcs in a way I can share all my external peripherals with two computers.In-build speaker quality is really good for dialogues and conferences - as the speech quality comes out of the in-build speakers is crystal clear but if you need good base for music videos better to have external speakers.I love the KVM switch - the screen is not faraway from us,we could directly use controls in the screen itself but having KVM switch next to your keyboard makes lot of difference and so convenient to switch between eye care mode to SRGB and other controls.the eye care and low blue light control features very excellent. the screen gives the feel of reading stuffs from a high quality papers.I used infinite screen edge monitors before but this screen has think screen blaze edges with few mm elevated from the screen. it gives the feel of me immersed into the screen and also I can keep my external webcam on top of this monitor which would not disturb zoom or excel sheet header bars while I am in presentation or conference model. I never go back to infinite edges ..this is practical serious professional monitor for home office / photo/ video editing. Highly Recommenced.

I purchased this monitor as a second screen to my MacBook Pro 2015 for two purposes. Mainly it is to provide extra screen real estate to aid software development. However I also use it to edit photos taken with my Fujifilm X-Pro camera. After a few weeks of use I find that it works very well when scaling is set to the second largest text size setting in Mac OS. It gives a Retina-like experience, provided the viewing distance is a tad longer than the laptop's main screen. It has very nice colour rendition and I couldn't find a faulty pixel on the screen throughout my initial tests. The OSD menu and the buttons feel a bit awkward and quite slow to respond.I dislike the fact that automatic brightness adjustment feature is only available in a couple of profiles but not in sRGB.It is also worth noting that some of the preset profiles are quite useless for my use, simply setting it to sRGB or using custom mode to slightly tweak values from the factory preset sRGB mode works best. It's got a pair of speakers but I never tried them and I don't have much intention to do so. All in all, this screen seems to work great for my intended use but it didn't blow my mind away. It still deserves 5 stars from me as it is very good value and I may buy a second one to extend the working area even further. To sum it up, it's a nice monitor at a great price. I would consider buying a second one for a dual arm setup in the future.

I admit that when I first plugged it in, I was disappointed. Photos looked good but normal text, like in email or a document was horrible with blurry edges and black looking rather grey. However that was with the old videocard which could not do more than 1028 horizontal. I have now installed a new one which supports the native resolution for this monitor (2048) and wau! It is an amazing picture, photos look almost 3D.It has heaps of added fetaures, such as USB3 ports, SD card reader, very unusual control consol in a shape of round bunnon which lives under the screen and can be used to navigage the menue much easier than with the buttons (also present). It also can monitor whether you are next to it and switch off almost instanty when you want away (not the same as the regular power saving protocol in Windows). Several pre-defined picture modes which are also handy because they do show you what the reasonable options are.A great feature is that it has this stand which allows to do whatever you want with it, move it up, down turn in any direction and even put it vertical if you wish. For someone who's eyes are less than perfect, this is extremely useful. I was looking for one with a fully adjustable stand and this one fits the bill.Perhaps more expensive than many with the same resolution and speed but I think it is worth it.Once again, for viewing photos it is amazing. So overall I am quite happy with it.

In my spare time I'm a highly ranked competitive gamer (Top 500, Apex Predator.. etc etc) and a Twitch Streamer. Professionally, I work in Business Marketing. The company I work for (easily one of the most profitable companies in the UK) uses this monitor for all image and video editing - that's how good it is. It's very hard to find a good quality yet reasonably priced monitor that meets the specifications your client will want all year round and on top of it, it's just a delight to have your eyes glued to. You'll be using this monitor for countless hours a year and you'll definitely get value so it's a no-brainer. All of the graphic designers in the company swear by this monitor and use it at home too and I've recently had one gifted to me by my company (spare stock)and I have to say, it's really impressive. The colours pop really well without being overbearing and watching movies on it just feels great, my eyes didn't get sore even after my latest Star Wars marathon. For gaming, you wont get the low latency options and no 144hz support so it's not the best monitor if you're looking to be as highly ranked as I am. You can find other monitors for the same price with all the gaming-related support you'll want....But for everything else (movies, editing, etc) this is brilliant.Hope this helps. If you found this helpful, please hit the "HELPFUL" button below. It'll really help me too. :)Five Stars.

My daughter is taking a graphics design course and uses this with her MacBook Pro. She uses it primarily for creating digital artworks using Sketchbook and GIMP and finds it indispensable. She also does animations, making some use of software she got from Studio Ghibli. It came with everything she needed to hook it up to her laptop and the instructions were easy enough to follow that she had herself hooked up within minutes, frustration-free. The colours run true to what she has selected and having the much bigger screen has reduced the need to zoom quite so much to see what she is doing. The line contrast is excellent and the animation mode has really come up trumps for her, enhancing darker areas thus making it easier for her to see without having to adjust exposures as she works. The screen is height adjustable and tilts making it comfortable to use.She says the speaker sound is good but she doesn't use them usually as she prefers to work earing noise-cancelling headphones to listen to her tunes while she's doing her work, though having them there in case she does want to use them is a nice bonus. It has a matte screen as well, so she is able to view her artwork both in gloss (MacBook screen) and in matte for full effect. This is especially helpful as she has recently started takng commssions for prints.

Wow, this Monitor was the best thing happened to me <3I will leave both Good and Bad things about this Monitor belowGood: It is as it is described in product specification and moreover, the sRGB colour accuracy is 100% so that way you never doubt your colour grading decisions and neither the disappointment from its great extra picture modes like, CAD/CAM, animation, Low blow light, Dark Room mode and many more. The design of display and build quality is very great and astonishing and watching Netflix on this screen is amazing. They are also built in speaker and the sound quality didn't disappointed me either. While watching Movies I sticked with sRGB mode and while long time use in night time i Used Dark Room mode and I was very satisfied with dark room mode so much cuz it reduced the brightness but the picture quality was still so alive, i was so shocked :DDBad: The first issue I had with this display was turning it on, that was because first, the monitors is not built in auto detect mode so at the first use you manually have to select your connectivity type and second it unfortunately didn't work on my motherboard but only on my Graphics Card.Weather that was something to do with voltage or the drivers, i tried it all but only worked on GPU :/That;s it <3 I Hope this review was helpful.

I been using an LG Monitor 40" HD TV before and as I don't watch TV anymore decided to get this instead. Attaching the stand to the monitor is child's play, just push in the stand into a slot and tighten it up and the other end clicks into place on the monitor itself.Easy setup if you're used to USBs, HDMIs, Power adaptors and all that. What am doing is running an HDMI from my laptop to my receiver in and then a HDMI out from the receiver to this monitor, that's the proper setup to use for 5.1 surround sound, the monitor does have speakers built in but there nothing compared to a proper HiFi setup. The colours are much more better and blacks look real black instead of grey as before. This monitor reminds me of a Sony TV I had as the contrast is much better and when playing blu rays its like looking through a window its that clear. Even with up scaled DVDs you can get the same quality picture. I must admit I really didn't expect Benq monitors to be as good as Sony's am well impressed. My only bad point I found about this monitor is its suppose to be 27" when really measuring it its only 23" x 14" and that's measuring the full unit not just the picture. I give it 4 stars only because it states 27" and its only 23".

I read a large number of reviews before purchasing the PD3200U 32 inch 4K Designer Monitor and was a little concerned by some of them. I am not a gamer but use this monitor for work and other desktop applications on a Win 7 and Win 10 machine.I have to say that I don't get any of the flickers and the screen quality is absolutely great. The stand is very sturdy (and heavy). The KVM is great too. You can configure it for one button touch on the monitor to switch HDMI inputs (using 2 buttons, one for each HDMI input) and one button touch on the puck to change USB devices (using 2 buttons, one for each upstream USB connection). The screen is very clear and the brightness is far better than my lastBENQ monitor which was a quite old 1080P 24 inch monitor. The colours will blow you away compared to other monitors I have seen.I accept it is more expensive than some other IPS 32 inch monitors but, you really do get a fantastic value for money in my opinion.I haven't tried this monitor on games so I cannot comment on its suitability but, If you are not a gamer, this is a fantastic monitor.

Not being a "pixel peeper" I can't see any faults and this monitor looks great. It has lots of options ( I didn't know about most of them until I started setting it up ) including changing the display output to match your programs. The puck is useful, although now I have my program preferences setup I hardly use it.The screen is "split" vertically down the middle so you can have different options on each side. I notice in one of my video programs the progress bar is offset between one side and the other. I do not notice it in any other software I use and it is not a problem.I have all the inputs and outputs I need and it was easy to setup.I remember now the stand clipping into the back of themonitor did not seem that secure but it has not fallen off and being able to rotate the monitor helps when fitting the cables.Packing was good EXCEPT the screen side of the monitor was least protected. My box had a in it but luckily nothing had touched the screen. There is just empty space between the cardboard and screen. As far as I am concerned it is a great buy.

The main reason I bought this monitor is because I make tutorial videos for my online business. My previous quality was 720P (1280 x 720 pixels) as I disliked recording in fullscreen on a standard 1080P (1920 x 1080 pixels) monitor. Obviously 4K is 4 times as much real estate and it's resulted in a large increase in general productivity!Everything looks a lot more crisp - bearing in mind you probably won't reap these benefits unless you sit relatively close to the screen. But the huge increase in screen real estate makes multi-tasking so much more pleasurable.I tend to use the low blue-light setting to reduce eye-strain and I have little to no complaints. Some monitors make me squint - I must have sensitive eyes - but this monitor seems to do the trick.Very happy overall. No excessive frills. Great true to colour 4k monitor. Looks and feels the part. Would purchase again. Couldn't recommend this enough to professionals looking for a good productivity monitor

I recently bought this Benq because I was fed up of scrolling through endless windows when using certain apps. At the moment I am very happy with it, it is huge and you can really notice the resolution boost since, with this size, it is possible to work in 4K without increasing the size of the letters or icons much. On the other hand, I did not have any flickering problems and I have been using it for a couple of days during quite a few hours. My only complain if I was a graphic designer or another professional that requires very accurate color representation is that consistency over the panel is not completely perfect, some almost normal considering the size and price of this unit. Besides this,I don't see any other problem with the screen and, in any case, if you need such an accurate color display probably you would not be buying a Benq.

I bought it after a bt of research and after trying out Iiyama XUB2792UHSU-B1 which was described as having the best picture at the price tag. Benq PD2700U wins hands down when it comes to picture quality. Sharpness settings are at the optimal range and steps between each level are small enough to get that perfect image. It comes calibrated from the factory so setting it up is a breeze and it took only a few minutes.I like it a lot and now considering another one for dual screen setup. It's missing the new ePaper mode from Benq and for those reading a lot it could be a deal breaker however with its EyeCare features it's easier on my eyes than the current monitor.Anyway - great product and those who like professional quality without 'professional' price tag should be happy.

I have two of these either side of an iMac Pro, I wanted the lower res (2K) to give me a native pixel view on small res projects that was a little larger than the 5K iMac gives me. They obvioulsy don't have the quality of the iMac screen but they integrate very nicely as side monitors and I have got the colour space matching fairly well.My first order was returned due to a defect with the screen coating but it was sorted quickly, The stands are good. The menu is a little fiddly as others have commented but only really to reach as the buttons are not labelled and on the back of the screen but the software/menu interface is fine.Set up to the Mac was fairly straight forward. They do provide a lot of extra screen real-estate for a very good price so happy days.
