Well, it's a lovely bright led picture. Has vesa mount for desktop arm or wall mounting as well as plastic stand. UK lead included as it doesn't have an adaptor box, straight into the mains. Controls are a bit annoying and fiddly on the front and it only comes with subvga patchlead. Come on guys, put an HDMI lead in. They're cheaper!! Otherwise, games running isn't a problem with minimal tearing in that I didn't notice any. For a dual monitor or small space gaming screen it's very good.

To start with the only flaw, the adjustment controls are unclear and there is nothing in the documentation to explain them. A search online got me the instructions from a user forum and also the information that this seems to be a problem with all Acer monitors - so now I know. Once the brightness/contrast etc is set, the monitor is great - the wide screen is an absolute luxury for proofreading documents and doing research - I'd been happy with my 19" screen but the extra width is very useful.

This is a great monitor for the price. Yes of course there are better monitors out there but for a great price this does the job. It allows me to have multiple documents open side by side and gives me a good sized screen for viewing videos on Netflix or YouTube. If you want the best monitor for gaming you're going to have to spend more. However, if you need something for the odd bit of gaming, streaming videos and most importantly to work then this will do the job nicely and a very low price.

I needed a monitor over 22" quickly to finish a pc for my daughter as her tv/Monitor wasn't cutting it. Every where else was more expensive for the same spec or the same price for a smaller screen. I've bought acer before & this model is made to the same high standard with good quality picture and vga, hdmi and dvi. Great service from argos, as ever: quick, efficient and friendly.Overall if you need a decent sized 1080p monitor you can't really go wrong with this purchase from argos

The monitor works well. However, I wasn't sure that the size was 23.6" (59.94 cms) as advertised so I measured it. The width of the monitor incl. the frame is 56.5 cms which is 22.24" not 23.6". The width of the screen excl. the frame is 52.25 cms or 20.6". I have attached a photo of the monitor and measuring tape.The size on the sealed Acer box is given as 23.6" so I wasn't given the wrong product by mistake.I don't blame Argos but are all monitors mis-sold like this?

The Monitor does everything I need. The plug and play feature automatically 'tuned' itself to my computer, and the resolutions are adjustable, which is a benefit. I couldn't ask for much more, although it took a bit longer to find, using the computers than expected. I needed to use the catalog to locate what I was looking for, before I could choose the product. Despite that, I am very content with my purchase, and the experience, in store.

Wanted a slightly larger display than my last one. The larger size of this display is noticeable in comparison, well worth the extra cost for this size. Even on an old VGA connection the display is good, on digital connections the display is superb. Only downside so far is that the menu system is not attuned to the way I think so is not that easy to use. However, eco mode has about the right settings and I have left it in that,

Good so far - I struggled a bit to begin with because the default appearance when connected seemed over-bright, but after changing the settings (not at all intuitive how to use the buttons to get round the menu) I got to something that looks better. So I like the picture quality and build of the monitor, but not the menu system and I would have expected to default to a 'good picture' to begin with.

I needed an HDMI input for the future, with D-SUB for the existing machines. This fits the bill for normal uise.On the 'ECO' setting it looks good, and adjusting the input seems easy (it currently cycles through and automatically picks VGA).. Tried the normal settings, a bit bright for me.The only down-side for me is the menus - very hard to change some items.

Very nice looking screen 24” nice size you wouldn’t need any bigger as a home monitor it looks sleek black and modern well worth upgrading form a lcd nice picture it has HDMI and VGA what I was looking for energy saving works great no issues so far if you need a new large monitor I would recommend going for this one and the price was the best I could find.

Connected to a laptop via an HDMI cable, a reasonable range of control options via the buttons on the monitor, first thing you need to do is find the option to extend the time-out before it closes, just so you can decide whether the picture setting is for you. Three inputs, I've used the HDMI for the laptop & the desktop is using the DVI. No problem so far

Has annoying red pixel dot towards top of screen in centre. If was visible on more than just plain black or white backgrounds I'd have returned it for another screen. As it is it wasn't worth the time or effort in doing so. However it would make me think twice about buying another Acer screen, or similar product from Argos again.

Monitor is awesome. Minimal set up effort - unpack it, plug 2 cables in, turn it on and connected it to the laptop. A couple of mouse clicks and away I went. Perfect for the home office. Also bought a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard set. The equipment is no different to that you would find in many offices.

Got this for son's Christmas as he's constantly moaning about picture quality whilst play his console ,This was a great buy as he hasn't moaned since ..the only thing I didn't realise was there's no sound so recommend you get a sound bar .but he was ok As used his earphones for sound on his console.

Connecting the monitor was a piece of cake. Turning it on took ages. all of the control buttons are hardly visible or marked, with the the manual saying it was in the wrong place.After a lot of trial and error I finally got it to turn on, and its been great ever since
