We nearly took this back because once you unpack it, the screen is tilted so it looks down ever so slightly.We contacted Samsung online to ask how to remove the neck of the stand (not the base) and trying to remove the neck which we still could not do, we worked out that where the square part of the plastic that attaches itself to the screen actually moves with some gentle force applied and therefore the screen tilts - be very careful not to crack the monitor screen,read the manual for guidance!

This is an excellent monitor and I strongly recommend it.There are a three points to note:1) It comes with two attachments to plug it into the mains. One requires a 'razor plug adapter,' the other doesn't. Once you've made the 'connection' you can't unplug it. Make sure you get it right first time!2) The lead can come loose from the back of the monitor if the monitor is moved slightly.3) The 'power on' button is multi-functional and is out of view. It takes a bit of getting used to.

No issues with picture quality, good for the money.Biggest problems is, I chose this monitor as it was wall mountable, however the placing of the screw holes for a wall mount are located only a few mm away from the stand mount on the back of the monitor. This makes it pretty impossible to find any suitable mount, I searched around and could find nothing that would work.In the end I actually had to cut my existing mount down to size. Poor design choice.Could also do with a 2nd HDMI socket.

I like the 'eye saver mode', which I turn on in the evening, which helps it be eye friendly. The multi-functional button in the back is great, it moves like a joy stick, I can change the settings quite quickly without having to look behind the monitor. The picture rate is perfect, I use it for online gaming (shooter games) and it shows it perfect. It is thin and looks great in my room. I use it also as an extended monitor when I'm working on my laptop, the monitor gives better resolution.

This monitor is well built with reasonable price. LED display is vivid and attractive. So if you fancy LED display with competitive price, this is the one for you. However, I would like to mention some drawbacks. First of all, I am not a fan of this design. It is too old-fashioned. I personally prefer more modern design, like Dell monitors. Secondly, I do not like the button at back the monitor. It is one button, suitable for single-hand use. But sometimes quite confusing for new customers.

All our TVs are Samsung, all the monitors where I work are Samsung (we buy around 60 monitors a year). With my work, I have travelled to 28 different countries & I can't remember an airport monitor that has not been a Samsung. Not surprisingly when I wanted 2 new monitors for home use, I bought Samsung monitors. They are dead easy to set up & give a fantastic picture. I have never been disappointed with a Samsung product.. You just plug them in, they work, there good quality & very reliable,

Bought this to replace another Samsung monitor that died after 9 years of daily use, its surprising how much better this monitor is after a bit of fiddling with settings on the monitor and the PC to get it the way I like it I now have a great picture good colours and pin sharp text. some people have moaned about the settings joystick being on the back of the monitor have had no problems using this and is much better than on the monitor it replaced. So all in all would highly recommend

This is a fantastic monitor, my very old monitor broke down so I had to get a new one, I got one originally that wasn't suitable for my needs at all, so I took it back and bought this one instead. I use Photoshop rather a lot and the picture quality to work on is absolutely brilliant, I can see clearly what I am doing. I also found the set up of this very easy in comparison to other monitors, the buttons are clearly laid out and easy to use.I cannot fault this monitor.

Got it as a replacement for IPS, faulty screen. Amazing blacks, superb color representation. Far more superior over IPS screens in similar price. Freesync feature works with my computer on "out of the box" basis. Been served by super helpful woman i need to find and thank her for it. Quality of a product and service way above it's price. Lacks on connectivity and rough bezel but hey! It's not what you are looking at when in use. Way better than same price IPS screens.

This is a top quality monitor with a smart black gloss finish.It is easy to put together and works 'straight out of the box'.The picture quality is excellent,very sharp and clear.The only down side,is all the controls work on a 'toggle joy stick' type switch,which is the on/off switch as well and it is located at the back of the monitor,right hand corner ,looking from the front..I have found it easier to switch it off at the mains, otherwise highly delighted.

Pros:Picture quality very good for 1080p;Good viewing angles;Response time for games acceptable. I did not noticed any lag;Totally worth the money;I would recommend for a small room.Cons:Only 60hz. Good for casual gamer like me. A bit small and bezels a bit to wide for my taste ( but is a personal taste )Stand could be a little bit more narrow as it takes to much space from the desk;I wish it should had a display port or at least 2 HDMI.

Very nice monitor. Easy to set up and use. Picture quality very good. Only thing I don't like is when it is off it shows a blue LED (a bit like a red standby light). I don't like this, I would rather it swich off completely. So unless you unplug it from the wall everytime, you get this light (which must use some power, may as well have called it standby mode rather than off). You get no power light when the monitor is on.

An overall very good monitor offering a wide range of features, particularly both HDMI and USB connectivity which is highly appreciated. Liked Samsung's older design better though (three years back), the matte finish was better than glossy stuff, and the touch switches were a lot more reliable back then...Why on earth didn't they stay with what they previously achieved?! Just "newer" is not always better.

The TV set-up was fine, no problems there, but we still can't work out how to use the DVD player. It can't be accessed from the remote control and the buttons on the side of the screen are impossible to see without a torch and magnifying glass. Probably better to buy a tv without DVD player and connect your own if you want one. Otherwise the TV is good, clear picture and sound, and a reasonable price.

Needed a new monitor to hook-up to my laptop when I'm in the office.. Did all my homework - read loads and loads of reviews and this one seemed the best for the price..Definitely not disappointed.. Really easy to set-up and picture quality is great even on large spreadsheets.. I guess it could be slightly annoying that there's no 'swivel' but I knew that when I bought it and not required for me..
