Setting up the monitor physically, attaching the stand etc were easy, it all clicks together, no tools needed. Height is not adjustable, but it works OK for me with my varifocals, always a bit tricky with monitor height and distance. My initial disappointment was picture quality. I swapped it for my old monitor with RGB cable and the picture was bad, fuzzy and too light. I changed the RGB for HDMI and then it was clearer and sharper, so I would recommend to bin the RGB at the native 1920 x 1080 resolution, and only use HDMI. However, then I had a lot of problems with picture brightness. Even on the brightness 0 setting from the manual control, it was too glary, blacks washed out greys, whites hurting the eyes, and I was beginning to think I would have to return it. I spent a couple of hours fiddling with the awful manual control buttons trying to get a decent brightness/contrast level. Then I installed the drivers and read the manual, always a good idea, and installed the control software, called i-Menu. From this I found a setting called Picture Boost, subsetting Bright Frame. In this, setting brightness to 20%, Frame size 100%, contrast 40% gave a good result, nice black blacks, comfortable white, good contrast on Windows icons. Not easy to find though, not exactly intuitive! Pity it doesn't do this out of the box. Now it looks good and works well enough for me, so I am giving it (just) 4 stars as good value for money. Sharpness is OK, not fantastic by today's standards (I compare with my Dell monitor at work, which is significantly clearer). It is a nice big monitor that works well with dual input - I have one HDMI from my desktop, and use the other to plug in my work laptop and use as an extended screen, which works very well also. So, not sure I would recommend it, but just about good enough and value for money. I don't use it for gaming, so can't comment on that.

With it's straight-forward design, this 22" monitor is ideal for office/home-office set ups. Whilst it doesn't feature any form of manoeuvrability, it does support VESA mounting - ideal for wall & arm mounting to achieve that custom positioning you might be looking for. The resolution is 1920x1080 with a 5ms response time.Although not specifically intended for heavier use, this model can perform at a standard pace when needed. I tested its capabilities on 3 games, including Cities: Skylines, OMSI 2 and Watch Dogs 2 and found that the monitor performs remarkably well. With Full HD LED design you're obviously can't expect 4K style gaming but after playing a couple hours on each I can say that I never noticed any bugging-out or visual imperfections.I don't play shooters or FPS games so I can't comment on that level, but I'd recommend the 1ms AOC model for that, if you want to keep within this tier of monitors.Connectivity includes 1 x HDMI and 1 x VGA, with both cables provided in the box. Product support including drivers and software come with the product in an installation disc, but if, like me, you don't have an optical drive you can download drivers from the manufacturers website. You'll find 3 basic tools to control the quality and eco-footprint of the monitor. That being said, I can't seem to figure out how to apply the changes to more than one monitor (I ordered two). It's also important to realise that a budget-range model like this would seldom feature speakers, and this model DOES NOT. Although Windows 10 does seem to class it as a High Definition Audio Device.

I bought these two monitors to replace my ever dying previous ones and these have perfectly taken their place. There is a real difference when you have been constantly working from home on a 1440x900 16:10 monitor and then replace them with some real nice Full HD 1080p monitors! Both sit real nice on the desk and make things look sleek!Really easy to unpackage!Really easy to put together i.e. neck and base... just push them in until you hear 2 loud clicks.Easy to turn on but a bit awkward on the menu side of things... there is only one button on these monitors and that is the power button so navigating the menu is a little weird.Recommend putting the provided disc into the computer to installand run the drivers and in there it will send you to a link to look at the instruction manual.ONE THING: The DVI, VGA, HDMI and POWER CABLES ARE SHORT (certainly were for me) so get some longer ones ordered or use the previous ones you may already have. The monitors themselves look amazing on my desk and is definitely worth spending the money on!

I have this monitor at work so had no hesitation to order one online for home use.I actually ordered this from Overclockers as when I searched Amazon they were out of stock, also the Overclockers image was more appealing than the Amazon & won me over.Well done OC (twin sisters dressed in black)24" display designed with speed in mind with an ultra-fast 1ms GTG response time makes it perfect for gaming, as well as anyone who uses graphics, animation and film editing applications. Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution reveals the finest details while impressive 20M:1 dynamic contrast delivers sharp imagery with deep, true blacks. Built-in 2 watt speaks offer adaquate sound but I will hook up to soundstation.Tilt stand a standard but I will be VESA mount on the wall.VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors let you hook up multiple computers, devices.Out of the Box the screeen looks elegant & simple to install.Great Monitor at a great price sub £120

I have had this monitor for nearly 2 years now, and am looking to buy a second to go on a vesa mount with my first. On my current one I have it plugged into my PS4 and my Desktop. Originally this was a concern as the monitor only has one HDMI port as it has a DVI and VGA too, however I wanted HDMI for both the devices so i bought a £2 converter from DVI to HDMI. And now i have absolutely no problems with the monitor. I use it for up to 7 hours a day and it has never failed me, the 1ms response time is really good for the price range. The speakers aren't the best but you don't expect them to be as if your that into sound quality you buy external speakers anyway and for the price its good they have the option of built in speakers. The design of the monitor is a bit basic however it doesn't look bad so I have no issues with it there.I would defiantly recommend this monitor to anyone.

I have had the screen for close to 3 months now. Let me first clear a few things about what cables and other stuff you get in the box as the description was confusing.x1 VGA cablex1 HDMI cablex1 3.5mm Male Stereo JACK TO JACK Audio Cable about a meter longx1 cd for changing the settings on the monitorThe screen is absolutely gorgeous, not grainy unless you put your face against the screen. I use it as a second screen when I do work and also as the main screen for my ps4. The refresh rate is 1ms so its ideal for gaming. The built in speakers you get with the screen is not too bad at all. I used to use it until I purchased separate speakers but if you expect to use this as a main source of soundI wouldn't recommend as there they are located behind the monitor towards to top so you wouldn't get the best experience. No problems answering any questions anyone might have.

I purchased a couple of these. They are sleek, and good looking even when off and not in use.Once I had installed the supplied drivers (you may have to google howto, for your specific OS). These puppies rock.Supplied with both HDMI & VGA leads. But as it supports DVI+ and my Graphic card is a little long in the tooth having only a single HDMI output, and I already had some DVI+ cables (Not supplied, BTW) that’s what I am using. Not a big fan of those adapter thing-a-ma-jigs.Both of my monitors are on a twin stand, and look pretty cool. The gaming response is brill. As to the in built speakers, well they suck. But who the hell uses monitor speakers ?.The power button is pretty well hidden on the underside edge of the monitor, next to the adjustment controls, and the indented black on black control button lables are hard to see. But I’ll give them a pass on that.

Excellent value for money, no dead pixels etc. or other artefacts after ~3 years of use. I colour calibrated mine and used overdrive on weak in order to compensate for ghosting. The colours are bright and vibrant for a cheap TN panel and although the monitor runs naively at 60 Hz, I have successfully overclocked mine to 80 Hz without issue. This monitor is a bargain, especially after overclocking the frame rate and calibrating the monitor. The only drawbacks are:Poor inbuilt speakers. This isn't an issue for me as I didn't intend to use them anyway. I would not expect most monitorspeakers to be good. The fact that this monitor includes speakers at all at this price is surprising even if they are terrible. The monitor is only tilt adjustable, not height adjustable. This is not an issue for me but people with different height desks maystruggle.

After browsing for 1080p, HDMI monitors with speakers for about a month, I was delighted when I found this. This monitor includes HDMI, VGA, and an AUX cable IN THE BOX. The inclusion of an HDMI cable for a monitor that costs £100 (price I paid) is just amazing considering most of the others this price have a smaller screen & no HDMI cable. The screen looks very good and I use the monitor for gaming, watching video and surfing the web on my PC. You can connect an Xbox One or PS4 to this if too because of the HDMI port. The speakers are my only downside, they don't go very loud or sound very good but they get the job done and for £100 it is hard to complain.I would recommend this monitor to anyonelooking for a budget HDMI screen with built-in speakers.

I had a nice AOC monitor that came with my PC and bought two of these for a double monitor setup with a desk stand similar to a wall mount. As a web developer, graphics designer and photographer having double monitors is really useful.I'm really impressed with the picture quality, whether bright lights are on or darkened room. The screen doesn't reflect lights in the room. Watching HD movies gives a crisp picture, lovely bright colours and enjoyable viewing. When I'm working in Photoshop, developing websites etc there's all the detail I need.I'm going for triple monitors later this year and when I do I'm buying a couple more of these so the fourth can be used as an extra screen for my HDXKindle Fire

Absolutely great!!! Received as a birthday present and I wont look back. The aesthetics are quite good, with a 'brushed' effect on the monitor bezel and base. The colours are great and has a range of inputs; HDMI, VGA, DVI and audio i/o. One thing i love about this monitor is the fact this has vesa screws on the back, allows me to mount it to the wall or an a desk clamp and have intentions to do so later on. Also, the detail is phenomenal, once I plugged it in, i was purely amazed the image quality. Build quality (plastic) could be better, but you wont be touching this monitor much so that doesn't really matter. All in all, this is a clear, decent monitor suitable for gaming (1ms) or office work.Great.

What a cracking little monitor!!I have this as part of a triple monitor set up for my production office. The second of its kind (im working on getting them all the same) It serves my needs perfectly well and looks the part.Bright colours, dark shadows in games, correct contrasts. All the conection on the back I needed, and the menu controld by the mouse, is simply mind blowing!!Well worth the price, though the version with just a VGA conection is cheaper but a small margin.Allows me to game at full 1080p resolution at 60htz with minimal tearing. My webcam clamps nicley to the top of the screen, and my monitor stand isnt that wobbly as it barley weights a thing!

This monitor is perfect and just the right size it’s not to small and looks great when on or off the price is amazing for this product as I didn’t want to spend over £100 on one because it’s only being used to monitor my home cctv system so I just need something good but reasonably cheap too it’s easy to set up it can have a bracket fitted to the back for wall mounting and it’s easy to use and set up you get a aga cable a hdmi cable and power cable and a cd rom too fast delivery and great service i would definitely buy again in future if needs be and I would recommend to anyone top product for the price great picture too love it

If I could give the monitor a 4.5 star rating I would, but I can't so I'll give it a 5 as it's more of a 5 than a 4. The monitor itself is great, no faults with the visual quality and the buttons over touch sensitivity will be a plus in my books. My main fault however is that there is no 3.5mm headphone jack and that is a shame and quite the pain to be honest. However, I really do like this monitor for it's price and I am thinking of grabbing another one down the line. So that I can have 2 of these and maybe a 144hz monitor too. If you want a decent, cheap 1080p monitor. You can't go wrong with this.

I bought this monitor to use as a ( TV ) display for a HUMAX Free Sat Receiver, plug in, switch on, and relax.Great picture, plenty of menu options via the under screen buttons, but didn't need to adjust anything except the audio output. The viewing angle is a bit narrow, but as this monitor ( TV ) is at the bottom of the bed that really isn't a problem. No remote as you would expect, but as the display switches to stand by when not receiving a signal, not needed.
