My last remaining ye olde style 'tubed backlight' monitor had begun to fail and I needed a good reasonably priced monitor to use on a system used mainly for email and online. I checked with the usual online retailers that I would have used in the case of a PC part being needed, but then happened onto the fact that at Amazon the same AOC monitor was available for about £59 inc shipping and so I bought it.And then I got a email from the seller telling me sorry but it will take 1 to 2 months to ship that item to you and if you like you can cancel the order. Well 1 to 2 months to ship a bit of plastic and paper with a few odds and sods of electronics attached seemed a bit much so I went back to

Hey, it works... no problems. Windows 7 generic driver found and again no problem. I did then go into the supplied cd and install the driver on the disc and also the control software. The additional software may be a slight problem if your computer knowledge is below average... but it is a easy, honest! The supplied disc does not cover windows 7 as far as i could quickly see (windows 8, me and vista were covered as far as I can remember) but all I done was went into "search for new driver" under the monitor settings and browesed the cd...bingo. For the price of £61.00 a great deal!

I bought this item on ebay for £37 "Refurbished" (brand new in different box), so my review reflects the price I got it for.This monitor is very good as a 2nd monitor, not sure I'd be able to recommend it as a primary though. It works great but the viewing angles are pretty bad. It isn't worth £60 though, for that price point if you shop around you can get a much better monitor for the price. If you can get it for £40 or under (fairly easy), definitely worth it as either a 2nd monitor or a budget primary, as long as you get the viewing angle perfect.

For the price it is a very good monitor! Would recommend as a back up or 2nd screen as it is very good. The screen is a little bright and there is no way to tweak this on the monitor itself, however display managers such as Nvidia desktop manager allow for the normal monitor settings to be tweaked. Very pleased!

Great and stylish good quality monitor at a budget price. Very easy to use and just plug and play. Only negative point is the stand where it attaches to the back of the monitor and the base which is not very sturdy and allows the monitor to move around a lot.Apart from this I am very pleased with this product.

At the price, I don't think you could better this monitor. It is a little wobbly, but maybe that is just my computer table. After reading other reviews, I was surprised to find that it will tilt through about 15 degrees and the brightness is about right. I'm very pleased with it.

Goes up to 1080 lol, but looks funky so keep it at its native resolution and its perfect. Displays everything nicley, it's very low profile making it super easy to fit on the desk. Not a problem with these monitors have had them for over a week!. Lovely x.

it has stood up to casual gaming quite well however the price jump recently makes it harder to recommend. overall good product the definition of plug and play no faffing about to get it to work!

We are very pleased with the quality of our AOC 19.5 inch Widescreen LCD Monitor, and it arrived earlier than anticipated.We consider the price to be good for the quality.

Perfect for the price, built a little dual monitor set up and because of budget these were chosen, but very impressed, and have surprising graphic quality for the price.

I don't know whether it's just mine but the cable is very loose, but otherwise this is a very very good monitor ( it's also tilted back abit which I didn't expect )

Love this monitor, damaged my old one but made sure I got exactly the same make and model to replace as it is great. Perfect size, perfect picture, no hassle.

Pretty good for the price. I see everyone complaining about the brightness being an issue but it's not as bad as you would expect. Solid purchase.
