BenQ has been my preferred make of monitor for a while now. They aren't the best, but the bang for the buck is always fantastic.Let's start by saying that the actual description of the monitor on Amazon is a complete nonsense. The product comparison description looks like a load of babble, and the resolution is claimed to be 1080P, but it's actually 1440P, ie 2560x1440.I had a 27" IPS 4ms BenQ screen, which I bought just last year but I had to start calling it "Scarface" after a lump of CFL light bulb gashed the screen when we were over-enthusiastic playing in VR. On paper the IPS screen has better colours and a slightly slower refresh speed, but it's more expensive than this one. In practise,I can't tell much difference between the monitor being reviewed and the more expensive one being replaced.Personally, as with any recent BenQ monitor I've used, I have no difficulty using this for hours at a time. This is a multimedia monitor but... the speakers are pretty horrible and really only a last resort. I've looked into using multimedia monitors as TV box screens in the past, but unless you have a set of external speakers it's a non-starter.Overall this is a very good product for the price. The bezel is enormous compared to more expensive products, but where it matters you'll have a hard time telling the difference. I do wonder if I rather got swept up in IPS hype, when this cheaper, faster TN panel is perfectly adequate.

This is the second of these I own.The first I've had for over a year now, with no issues whatsoever.I treated myself to the larger format 27 inch monitor, upgrading from a 24 (and there is a huge difference).I couldn't afford the expensive Eizo type monitor I use at work Eizo CG277 27-Inch IPS LED Self Calibrating LED Monitor (2560 x 1440, Height Adjustable, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB, DVI)So when I bought this for less than a third of what Eizo are asking I hoped the Amazon reviews would stand in good stead. And they have. This really is a superb monitor.I really can't tell the difference between this and the expensive self calibrating Eizo.I use this for Photoshop, and a 27 screen really makes a difference in seeing more of what you are editing without having control panels cutting in to all the edges. If there is any downside to this monitor, it's the little sticker that comes in the box letting you know that the power consumption comes in at Class C, rather than the hoped for A.

This came as a gift. I already have a 27" ilyama running at 1920 x 1080 but seeing that this Benq should be able to run at 2560 x 1440 I thought it might be useful to give this a try. Unfortunately attempts to run it 2560 on two different machines resulted in some kind of weird interlacing that made it effectively unusable. I did a bit of scouting around on the net and discovered that this was a QHD monitor, a term I hadn't come across before. It may be that I need a certain class of graphics card to get the 2560 to work but I could find no clear unambiguous statement of just what was required. If anyone could help me that would be welcome. Right now I'm running the monitor back down at 1920.I would say that at that resolution it is just as crisp and clear as the Ilyama but perhaps just a whisper less rich in depth of colour, though not enough to motivate me to the bother of changing back to the Ilyama - so - adequate - 4 stars.

I bought this monitor as an upgrade to my bulky Samsung 2333HD, and to have a more dedicated monitor for my new PC. The picture is incredibly crisp and the contrast is wonderful. The build quality feels sturdy, and the integrated cable management is useful, but you could only get between 3 and 4 cables in it. So if you're routing a lot to this monitor, be prepared to have one or two cables on show.My main complaint is that it's advertised as a 1ms response time monitor. But as seen in one of my photos, it's actually 2ms. This doesn't bother me much, but I can imagine that it would if this is the main focus of a purchase. And I imagine it could be taken as far as false advertising. The built in speakers are tinny, and aren't particularly loud. But it's a monitor, not a tv. So I did not expect much, and I run through a sound system anyway.

I used to have a BenQ many years ago but moved to Asus monitors. But I was after high quality Vesa compatible monitors, after much deliberation I decided to give these a go again. And I am very pleased. The picture quality is fantastic in all modes, I have settled on a reading mode to reduce the blue light effect. I like how you can do this instead of having to faff with all the colour and contrast settings, which is still perfectly possible.Been using it for gameing mostly and it's crystal clear, no distortion.Build quality is very good, no creaks when handling it. Solid construction on the mounting system, which admittingly I have not used but can see when handling and unboxing. All round its a good addition to the desk!

Got this monitor on Mid Sept.2019, the first week it momentarily turn off then on again and it happened for a few times during the week, ready packed it and send back. Then I ran through other people's comments see if other has the same issue and how to fix it. One said about the HDMI might give a bit of problem. And I remember I had use my disused HDMI from TV to other device , so I replaced the new cable comes with the monitor. After weeks of running not a blink from the monitor.Other thing, yes! the speaker volume is not high, my ipad is much higher then it . Well ! of course can use head phone in stead so this is not a issue .Overall, so far so good and I like it .

For a budget monitor I wasn't expecting what I got out of the box, it's a very sleek looking monitor with very thin edges, connecting and setting it up was easy and automatically switched to the hdmi channel when I plugged my Xbox into it. The settings are easy to use and the hotkey settings help for changing picture modes, volume, and brightness on the fly. The response time is amazing and the colour options and blends are editable to your own satisfaction leaving you with an immense gaming experience. Would highly recommend getting some desktop speakers to use with it if you want good sound. For the price you're definitely getting a great bargain.

I love this monitor because its a monitor it doesn't try to be everything, it isn't 4k, it hasn't got the best kind of b=uilt in speakers but what it does really well is automatically adjust the screen brightness, it offer the blue reduction to reduce eye strain. Whilst it's a 27inch monitor it's big but not to big if you see what I mean. I love the simple adjustments and the adjust and forget. For the money I was hard pressed to find anything of this price, it is easily a few hundred pounds cheaper than other that really don't offer anything different. I would put the ma=oney saved and add a sound bar 2.1 which would truly liven it up.

Arrived quickly (as expected)Good quality built, reasonably light and build durable.Mounting on stand couldn’t be easier.Drop the monitor, yes I imagine it wouldn’t hold us as well as others, but then again wouldn’t recommend dropping any monitor.Frame and Refresh rate very good. For my son, used with gaming PC build, plays fortnite, call of duty etc and no issues with picture quality, with max settings in game. Can tilt the monitor to point up / down etc.Negatives if you could call them that:Stand doesn’t allow moving monitor to different heights. Not really a significant flaw and well aware of that before purchase.

Used this monitor a couple of days now. The 24 inch is a good size to have a couple of windows on the screen. The stand is quite large and takes up a lot of space. You can notice slight colour fade based on horizontal viewing angle. It’s ok looking straight ahead at the screen. I wasn’t expecting a super sharp display. The function buttons are awkwardly placed on the back and this takes some time getting familiar with. The speakers are shockingly bad, but this was expected.Generally It’s ok, I don’t think you can get something much better in this price range.

Really good monitor, I am now working from home and using it 12 hrs plus per day and I don't get eye strain, which I did from my old monitor. It is really easy to assemble and set up and appears to be very well made. Please note, this monitor comes with an HDMI cable. The description doesn't make it clear that the cable is included and Amazon tell you that most people buy a cable with the monitor, so I bought one. I suspect there are a lot of BenQ customers who now have a spare HDMI cable tucked into a drawer in their home office...

This was a great upgrade from my previous BenQ GL2450HM dual monitors which were very nice already. I work from home with a dual monitor setup so I found these monitors to be great for work and entertainment, such as Netflix & YouTube. the thin bezel and compatibility with my current video card with two DVI cables (as good as HDMI) was an easy upgrade. The picture is even better than the last model and the super-thin bezels look great. It stacks up as a good monitor even before considering what a tremendous value it is.

I bought this so I would be able to use it with my laptop to work from home. The screen size is perfect and there are screen/brightness options for Multimedia, Web Surfing, Office or Reading. I find the Multimedia setting works fine, but if you spend long hours in front of the screen, the Office setting gives a slightly yellow tone so your eyes don't strain. Easy to set up - just plug in and go! Comes with a HDMI cable as well and the power cable is a good length.

This is a good buy - definitely recommended. It's a good quality display, flicker-free, and very good colour reproduction. I use this to work from home, and the size and resolution is perfect for me.4K at this screen size, would mean fonts would be too small for me - but this is just right.Highly recommended if you are short on space and cant fit in a 32 or higher size monitor (at which size, the 4K resolution would make sense!).

I bought this product to replace on older BenQ monitor, which lasted ten years without fault. The picture although isnt 4K is perfectly acceptable, it even came with a HDMI lead, which cant be bad.The sound from the build in speakers is tinny and basically crap, which is typical of most monitors of this price range, having said that, because o0f the price, build and picture quality, I still award it five stars
