I bought a few cheaper projectors off Amazon and wasn't very impressed with the picture or build quality of either. Eventually I decided if I was going to have one i'd be better off buying one that projected in HD. I wasn't disappointed!Although it only displays in 720p the image is brilliant and very crisp. After playing with the picture settings the blacks are now very dark but when using the projector in lighter conditions blacks do tend to look greyer.This projector is also very bright! we had to lower the brightness last night after watching a film but this will only extend the bulb life so no complaints there.

im loving this projector, it is working grate for getting 3d from your computer.the audio is loud for a small room but the quality is not grate.the resolution default is 720p but it can do 1080p.(warning) please be aware that you can't use this for 3d via other media devices - ps3, virgin, sky, 3d bluray player. it is only made for 3d for a computer.for 3d via there other devices you will have to buy (Optoma 3D-XL / 3D / Projector Adapter)over all because of the bad description against the 3d playback.I give it 4/5.

All thanks and appreciation for Amazon.uk for this item, it was great deal.this is a great projector...vibrant...bright...works in proper daylight...i have around a 150 inch screen size with the projector around 250cm away..picks up a signal as soon as you turn it on.

This short throw projector from BenQ is great. The image quality is impressive and great it's great value for money, highly recommended.

The projector works well and it is stylish, perfect features for what I wanted/expected. The speakers are not so great, but fine.
