The picture quality is very good and you can view it in a light room as well as dark. We bought new 3D glasses and the 3D is very good. I once went to a premier at the Venice film festival to see Everest in 3D (well posh!) The 3D of this projector was as good. We connect it to our blu ray player to watch DVDs or watch Amazon prime through it. The speakers let it down a little and we have found that we have to hook it up to a portable Bose speaker to get a really good sound.

PX706HD short throwThe picture quality is VERY good and latency is great for gaming, which was the main reason for purchase.Very easy to use with minimal setup.-----Remote control is not backlit which really doesn't help in the dark.Focus wheel feels VERY stiff, so much so it makes the picture move up and down when trying to adjust it.Louder than I thought but quiet in eco modeOverall I'm happy because the picture quality is great.Price paid £550 31/03/19

I recently bought a second hand Sony Home Cinema Projector and went the whole hog with screen, veg out sofas turning the front room into a proper den. The aged Sony kit just wasn’t doing it for me. A friend pushed me on the ViewSonic telling me to stop being such a brand snob. You know what. It’s a tidy projector, great picture and quality. For the money, super impressed.

Amazing projector, great built-in quality, great picture quality, not really noisy by the fan, good sound but could be improved. Definitely suggest. Doesn't have 3D
