My knees suffered terrible pain from overpronation 6 months after I started walking for my new job that involved a long fast paced walks up and down hills and stairs. I did not want to walk in garish bright Asics trainers and then have to change my potentially wet feet into smart shoes.Asics running trainers have suited my high foot arch and these are the same Asics running trainers coloured black and made much more water repellent but not waterproof so keep dry or they will smell. They are expensive for such ugly cheap looking shoes but worth having given the lack of choice. As always with Asics I believe they are 0.5 to 0.75 of a size bigger. Asics are very suitable for high arch feet.

After years of only using asics trainers for running and the gym I decided my feet deserved the same level of care for all the miles I walk with my dog. These are great. I love them. Supportive but light and although no trainer is going to be waterproof in the morning dew these are more waterproof than normal trainers. They look smart and like all my other asics shoes fit great.

Great walking shoes, very comfortable, nice long laces and water tight, my only complaint is that the shoe soul grip isn't brilliant in wet weather on paths or car peddles when shoes are wet, so make sure you wipe them on your cars carpet before putting them on the peddle. I am hoping that as I wear them in they will grip better.

This is a very comfortable and light weight walking shoe and I've got bunions and a knee operation, so it's difficult to find the right shoe. I had the chance of trying a similar Asics shoe in a shoe shop which felt tight my normal size and they didn't have a size up, so I ordered a half size larger and this fits perfectly.

I actually wanted a cross-trainer for all day use as I'm up and down stairs, running in and out of the garden, walking dogs, running to the shops. These fit my feet like a glove. Comfortable and very supportive AND most of all VEGAN FRIENDLY!!!! No hesitation in recommending them.

great for walking. Lighter than boots but better than trainies as they keep the moisture out. Ive got a few pair of the Asics Gel and I was surprised how good these were for the price as they are a lot cheaper. Bit more solid than the running shoes

All perfect. Delivered on time and now my constant first choice for walks on a daily basis. They are standing up so well to 50 miles a week and still feel comfortable, cushioned and resilient!

Nice trainers however the sole is very squeaky! Thought that would fade with wear but still creaks.... Slightly annoying. Having said that these are comfortable and happy with em

Bought these for my husband, he absolutely loves them. He is a very nimble and spry older gent, and walks miles - the support and cushioning in these is ideal.

Comfiest shoes I've ever worn. Light. I wore these around various cities in Italy (in a heatwave too) on hols, walking round for hours. My feet were fine!

while a tiny little bit smaller than I have found NORMAL UK 9s to be - Not enough of a problem to spoil purchase - otherwise Brilliant / Good Price

Very comfortable, I bought these shoes for work as I needed a good shoes that provides stability. I got one size larger and they fit fine.

Ordered a half size bigger but unfortunately they were still too tight in the width; otherwise more than happy with the product

Ordered normal size. Maybe a little snugger than usual but my feet are quite narrow so they are quite a good fit.
