I accidentally bought a bigger chef’s knife as I’d searched for an 8” blade. Sometimes mistakes are a good thing and this was one of those times.The bigger blade is great compared to an 8” blade for cutting celery, shredding cabbage and I find the weight and size easily as easy to manage for delicate tasks such as fine slicing onions.Given the bargain price and outstanding quality going hand in hand with the size means this is one of my favourite Amazon buys ever. I have to admit that I’ve cleaned the knife by hand each time I’ve used it. I’ve also made a blade sheath from an Amazon A4 cardboard parcel because I want it to stay as good as it is.It’s big though.
