When I first got this game, there wasn't a lot out for the DS. A nice cartoony platformer sounded okay though, and I even liked the movie making idea. However, Animaniacs isn't what it seems to be.Firstly, this is a DS game that uses no DS features, unless you include the item inventory viewed on the bottom screen. No touch control, no microphone.Secondly, the gameplay is awful. You have to explore a few levels as you do for this genre, collect a few food tokens, and get to the goal. However, the storyline is paper thin, you have tore read through dull text, listen to uninspired music and look at game boy color quality graphics. The franchise doesn't even save it. I have fond memories of the cartoon, and this game did its quirkiness no justice. This doesn't deserve to be a game boy advance game, let alone a DS one. There are so many other better games out there for the DS for 2006, which use the DS's unique features plus challenge and amuse the player.Do not waste your money on this cheap disappointment.

If you buy this game, you are one of the rasons vidiogames are declining. DO NOT BUT THIS GAME! IT WILL ONLY ENCORAGE THEM!Ok i bought this. It said "make a movie with 5 differant geners" not having "the movies" i gave it a go.It. Was. Dredful. The game is a very poor platformer where you have to get film reels to get time starring the 3 animaniacs... whoever they are. you're running around trying to get to the end and at the same time you're making a movie. No crative rights. no saying how you want it. You get a level and the director says "make me 5 films or we lock you in the water tower" afther playing the game for twenty minuets, I felt happy for the director to do just that It's worse than a movie tie-in (the cat in the hat kind by the way)If you have good taste in games don't buy this. Kids -5 might like it but thats it.

Makes no use of the touch screen, simply a port of a not-very-good GBA "adventure" type game to the DS. A complete waste of money.
