If you are trying to decide what size to buy, I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 14 stone. I take large in normal t-shirts, and XL in fitted fashion brands that always come up a bit smaller for some reason. I have a 44 inch chest. For this jacket, I'm wearing a Medium, and I like how it looks. It still looks chunky. If I wanted to look like Dean Winchester in Supernatural, I really could have got away with a small and left the sleeves unrolled. Although the small might have felt tight across my shoulders. The medium is spot on. The medium comes up like Saul Tigh's M65 when he wears one in Battlestar Galactica. Google it and you'll see what I mean. I would probably have looked absurd in a Large.Like a Flying Squirrel. Oh, I do have a liner in mine, but it looks just fine without it. I have a 2008 Belstaff Roadmaster in size XL that is the same size as my Meduim M65I like the jacket, but it's not built like a fashion jacket. There are many many loose threads and some of the stitching looks childish, but I'm not too fussed. You might be, so you have been warned. If you are wondering where the extra money goes in the Alpha Industries M65, then you might like to know that all the metal poppers and some of the zip hardware is branded, and some of the trim inside is also branded. The built in hood is useless, but I intend to never use it. I'll wear a hat. And the jacket is not even slightly waterproof.The top pockets will just about fit a bit of paper in them. If you put coins in there, it's not coming out unless you tip the jacket upside down. The pocket openings are too small for me to get my hand in.I was a bit concerned I would look like Foggy from Last of the Summer Wine, but so far no one has said anything. Possibly becasue they think I I might go Travis Bickle on them."You talkin' to me?"

ignore the photo - how they managed to make this coat look as bad as this is beyond imagining... how low is the crutch of his pants? WTF has he done with the sleeves?This is standard M65 length, broad sleeves, generous fit. This version has features not on the standard / original, like two inside pockets, one zipped, one big enough for a smartphone. Better finished than an Alpha I tried on in-store.Fit: I am 6ft, 44" chest, 38 waist pants. This is a bit broad in the shoulders, but not ridiculously so. I wanted a winter/ autumn coat that I could wear with a heavy fleece if needed, so loose rather than tight fit. (I'm not a fan of the button-in liners,but if you wanted to pay for one it would work well with this one size down strategy?) I sized down one step to a large from the Alpha size list. A medium would have given me a fitted look, and I imagine the sleeves would have still fitted my long arms. The fabric is standard Alpha weight, but softer than the Heriklon version- which is just as good quality, but wider / 'boxier' in the shoulder... Blue Alphas seem to be hard to get hold off, and this is a very good shade - not too bright, not so close to black.I'm a great fan of 15 year coats, my old Barbour is coming up to its 20th birthday, and the new one barely reached 3. Hope I have found a brand that will keep me going.....At this price, this is an enormous bargain! Alpha M65s sell in the UK for £109 to £140, this version I have seen at £175. I spotted it by accident, as 'M65' was left out of the description.

Okay, so I saw Taxi Driver and it changed me alright?? It's not like I'm shaving my head, yet.From the first time I saw Travis, i wanted this.I don't know what it is about Military movies of the more 'Psychological kind' that makes me giggle like a little girl.And here I am, a young man, in his very own M65.This is the jacket you've been looking for, tried several others, others brands, but this is it.It's heavy due to being well made, and I love the collar folded down.I'm really not a fashion person at all, but these are 'KcK-KcK'.(Now I'm going to cover mine in patches that reference things I love.)I'm 6"1, 42" chest, I ordered a Medium, glad I did.

Alpha quality. Fitted perfectly. Bought with liner. Now 46 and have had 3 alpha jackets since I was 16. The first still wearable but used for diy painting so a very used work coat. The second bought in 2002 and black but still as good as the day it was bought. Wanted a green olive one. Knowing these things last I'm not sure I'll be around to review the forth but I've a feeling the coat will be. fast delivery and great service from seller.

this is a real alpha m65, a little bet thinner than usual but excellent quality. You will never find such quality elsewhere. If like me you like confortable and strong quality jackets go for it. You cannot destroy these jackets!! Believe me, i wear these jackets every day it does not change, get old or looks dammaged! These jackets are amazing!!

cracking price for a genuine m 65. order a size down alphas medium is equivalent of a UK large.
