Fantastic quality,iconic (70's) winter coat,only downside is the (odd) sizing,often with American companies you have to size down,with the "slim fit" Alpha Explorer you more than likely have to size UP (this doesn't apply to the "vintage fit" parka's Alpha sell, were you probably DO have to size DOWN). Needless to say I sent mine back for the next size up.Verdict still out on the FART pac badge...'merkins doing irony,what ever next?

Wow, amazing jacket, triple A quality. This bad boy looks like it should be used by Eskimos. It really is amazing. I love it. Superfast delivery, two days and I had it on. Perfect. Can not believe I never heard of alpha industry before. I tell u now, I will only buy coat's from his designer from now on.

Lovely coat. I have bought another.This is a women's coat, you can tell by the zip, but it doesn't matter although it would have been nice to know. Great quality and fast delivery. Colour, not that accurate. Similar, but not that accurate.

After reading other reviews I went for a Medium which fits me perfectly (I'm 5'4, 40 inch chest). Coat is well made and very warm, it will make a good winter coat. Very happy with my purchase.

Good quality material, well made and nice design. I have looked for ages for a hood that fitted me and not the size for a horse, as most seem to be. Nice and smart and very warm.

Had many parka coats over the years including North Face , Helle Hanson etc , My current Alpha industries NB3 is by far the warmest and most water proof of the lot.

This is a modern slim fitting coat, so although I would normally have an XL I ordered and XXL so I could wear a jacket under if needed.

Absolutely recommend this jacket. I did try it this winter abroad where temperature was -22 C. Very warm and comfy
