Great jacket, this is the third one I own as I wanted another colour. The gun metal colour is great in bright daylight and really stands out, but in dull light there doesn't look much between it and the traditional army green ones.The jacket being American made, and not the fashion Alpha stuff from Germany seems to be a true fit in size.These always last a long time and are well made. A once a year dry clean keeps them in top order. Worn by me, worn by celebs, worn by U.S. Presidents.

Wanted a CWU 45 in nylon as a cool looking winter jacket; shopped around and prices were variable even in Jan sales. Flightstore had the jacket for a great price, and I knew from elsewhere on the web they had a good rep for customer service. I ordered late on a Thursday with expedited delivery, expecting to get it Monday or Tuesday, but Saturday morning it arrived, well, but not overly packaged. The jacket is a good fit, warm, light and stylish.

This was a change from my usual Alpha MA1 jackets. It's a shorter cut but the fit is excellent, better than the slightly bulbous MA1, and it is very warm and everybody has commented on how good it looks in the blue colour. I think my MA1 days are over, the CWU45 has converted me.

Fantastic looking and warm winter jacket.Top quality as expected from Alpha Industries and perfect fit.I'm a 44 inch chest and 6'2"so the XL is the one to order if you're my size.

This is a gift but having looked at the jacket and even tried it on for size, I am very pleased with it and it looked good.

GREAT QUALITY AND VALUE FOR MONEY. MANY OTHERS LOOK SIMILAR BUT THIS HAS THE DETAIL. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
