I was at a food and wine show today. Stopped in at one stand to look at kitchen knives then saw this. As my daughter said, my "eyes glazed over". Yes, I had to have it. I love good design and this has it in aces of spades. It's beautiful and also very functional. The picture doesn't do it full justice. Think of an iPad-size and like device witha lovely glass top. It can measure mass and volumes, in metric and imperial, and seems pretty accurate too. If you want to put a container on it before filling, do so and then zero the readout before filling. Works perfectly and hopefully is going to be a much cherished tool in my kitchen.

Bought for our new kitchen as our old analogue scales were a bit of a museum piece. Certainly scores well for appearance with its shiny tablet-like features. Works very well in use and is easy to wipe clean. Slight negatives include the loose battery cover (which I have had to tape down) and the fact that the batteries shipped with the scales had to be replaced after only a few uses.

Bought these scales to replace old ones. The touch buttons are great. The add-on function (resetting to zero whilst weighing different amounts) works fine. The rectangular shape is great when you put larger bowls on: the large screen is still visible. And it looks fantastic on your worktop!
