I am quite forgetful. I lose stuff everyday. I find 99% of the stuff I lose in the most infuriating locations, hidden in plane sight, for instance. For the small price of £15 (during a prime day sale) I decided to buy into the promise of never losing a wallet again and so far it has kept that promise.Pros and Cons:Pros:Design: This is undoubtedly the thinnest piece of technology I have ever used (see picture). It can fit anywhere. The design is also very simplistic which makes operation incredibly easy. The center "tile" logo acts as the only button and helps with set up and, if need be, finding your phone.Software: Setting up the Tile is extremely easy and can be done in less than 3 minutes.All you have to do is download the app, set up an account and the app handles the rest. The app's user interface itself is very easy to use (I have posted a screenshot below for reference). You can definitely still use it even if you are a technophobe. I was pleasantly surprised by how much you can customize your Tile. You can even change the locating tone (see picture)!Cons:Anti- loss/theft: If you lose your tile beyond the range of bluetooth then it will tell you it's last known location and not much else (Other tile member's phones will try to anonymously find it but the range of bluetooth is so low (20 m (normal environment) max) that this becomes a very situational way of finding it and if it is stolen this means there is almost no chance of finding it. Hopefully tile could make a slightly chunkier and more expensive model but with GPS.Speakers: The speakers in the tile are not loud at all and could be quite easily obscured if it, for example, fell behind a couch.================================================================================================================Bottom line:I can recommend this at the £15 I bought it for. But £30 seems to steep a price for what it is. If it weren't on sale I would have saved £10 and bought the tile "mate" (A fatter tile)

Pre tile I used to run around my flat like a madman searching all the possible last known places I left my wallet. Next to the sofa? In my pants? Which pants did I wear? In my jacket? Kitchen table?It made me late for things and was stressful. Tile had made this process quick and stress free and this is where tile shines. That's the problem it solves.I think people might expect too much from it sometimes, Bluetooth is still a limited technology compared to say gps so it only works close quarters. Don't expect a connection if you are in the right wing of your Manor House and your wallet in the left.However I MUCH prefer slowly walking through the house for 30 seconds while I get close enough for a connection than how I previously had to search for my wallet.Because of the proximity you need to be within for the connection the sound of the tile is plenty loud enough. I've heard it in my pants pocket under some other clothes in the bedroom from the room next door.Tile also have the problem that Apple limits the Bluetooth use of background apps and stops it for completely closed apps. Therefore Tile is not really any good for being notified of a wallet you left at the cafe for example unless you are regularly opening the app making iOS allow the app access to Bluetooth.Also I use a wallet made by the brand 'Slimmy', these are the thinnest and most minimalist you can buy. My Tile fits fine which I find very impressive.If you have the same problem as me then buy this product. If you understand Bluetooth technology before you do then you won't be disappointed.

Overview:The Tile Slim is a Bluetooth tracker that has a sealed non-replaceable battery that enables you to a) locate items that go outside of a distance from your phone and b) locate your phone if you have the item. Of note, the last known location of the item can be viewed on the app, overlayed on a google-maps design.Detail:The Time Slim is, as the name suggests, a lot thinner than the standard but sacrifices its width and height to achieve this minimal thickness. The thickness is the same as 2x Credit Cards stacked together and therefore isn't noticeable in small items such as wallets, purses etc.You can activate the "noise" function on the app and the tile will set off an audible alarm to enable you to locate it and the item it is with,if within distance (Bluetooth distance). You can also see the last-known location of the item if outside distance and the app will tell you when it is back in range once detected.It is splashproof and the "tile" logo is a grey push button that enables you to sound an alarm on your phone to add multiple functionality if you leave/lose your phone!Works in conjunction with the Tile app (IOS and Android) and when the battery eventually runs out (uses low-power Bluetooth 4.1), the manufacturer offer an exchange scheme for a discounted replacement version - however I am currently unaware of this cost.A well designed app that has apple-esque design, with a slim product to avoid loosing items.

Found my husband's phone with this. It was 10 minutes away..... Also whilst my hubby was abroad in Germany we tested it, and sure enough I managed to locate his hotel. We were both really suprised and impressed. If you can't find something immediately the next time someone else with a tile goes near your lost tile, it will help your tile send out its location, so the more people that use these, the more reliable it becomes for all. I managed to find my husband's phone at his parents home and send a signal so it rang and they phoned me straight away to tell me his phone was there. We're totally impressed, and will buy more when these run out in 12 months.Also considering one in each car as a cheap tracker.

Really well made and nice and slips easily into your wallet (the thickness of two credit cards). The sound it makes is louder than I expected and is super useful for if you occasionally leave your wallet behind somewhere and want to check where it is. I often leave mine on my desk.Useful for finding your wallet but also useful for finding your phone as pressing the button on the tile 3x makes your phone ring.This is also super useful if you're wandering down the steeet and see someone you don't want to talk to as you can make your phone ring from your pocket!The only down side is that the upgrade programme isn't available in the UK yet. Hopefully they bring it soon!

As the owner of another couple of tiles, this one was bought for my wife to go away with, to slip in her suitcase in case something went wrong in transit. Worked perfectly as expected. Luckily nothing went wrong but the ability to set an alert up when it came in range came in very handy when in the baggage collection area! Managed to get this on a Prime day deal as well for an insanely good half price. Well worth investing in if you fancy trying the Tile experience, or just adding to an existing collection!

This is a great little item that I bought on an amazon deal. I'm a bit of a whirlwind and always rushing around so this is great little help when I'm trying to find my wallet or phone in a hurry. I've popped it in my wallet so I can call my phone when it's on silent, or find my wallet with my phone as I change handbags a lot and often misplace my wallet. Could be very useful for keys or passports wallets for those who travel a lot.

Does what it says, works well. Thin enough to fit in your wallet (which is what I wanted it for) There is a subscription needed to access some of the features which I didn’t realise. Battery has a year long life so once it goes you have to buy a new one but you do get the next one at a discounted price from the Tile website.

Having lived in a studio (with little room to lose my wallet) and still having lost it several times, this is an absolute god send for me.I have a metal slimline wallet so was concerned about the Bluetooth being blocked but it appears to work fine! (Maybe some reduced range, but that's to be expected)

A very well made and thin device that I keep inside my wallet. I probably lose my wallet somewhere in my house once or twice a year and every time I wished I had some sort of tracking device. Pairs well with the app and the entire experience with using this product have been a positive experience.

The is my second one, as the first one slipped out of my wallet in the first 24hrs XD So I advise making it rubber or something more grippy (maybe i was just very unlucky). Need to have a replaceable battery and be much louder as is sandwiched in a wallet. Saying all that, i still love it!

Useful item. I've already used it to locate my wallet in the house. My only complaint is that the noise it makes really isn't loud enough. You basically have to be in the same room as it to hear it. For reference I also have a Tile Mate on my keys and it's noticeably louder.

Works great when you're trying to locate your wallet but the reverse isn't true when trying to locate your phone.Ironically I haven't needed to use it yet but just tested it now a few months after purchase and functions perfectly!

Ive bought this for my dad who is constantly losing his phone and his wallet. I have tried it out and I'm a convert, Im considering buying the Tile mate for my mum and myself! Great little product.

Amazing product works like a charm, works even through thick walls or when your a floor below where it is. Using it in wallet and can’t even tell it’s in there. Would strongly recommend.
