I'm happy with this now, but I did have some trouble with it. I bought this after buying an 8bitdo mod-kit for the NES controller. Initially, they wouldn't sync up. I tried updating the firmware. I tried the GBros adaptor, a Dualshock 3, a Dualshock 4 and a bluetooth Xbox One controller, and only the PS4 controller managed to pair with it successfully. At a loss, I tried updating the firmware again, and the modded NES controller paired with it successfully. I tried pairing some of the aforementioned controllers again, and it still took a lot of trial and error. It's just difficult to pair a new controller with this.Now I've got the modded NES controller synced up, I'm inclined not to mess around with different pairings.

Bought This And The NES30 Bluetooth Controller To Use On My Original NES System. After Some Issues With Controller Syncing And Disconnecting, A Firmware Downgrade Solved Those Issues And Now It Works Perfectly. Much Better Than Using The NES Satellite And Doesn't Take 6 D Size Batteries, It's Powered Straight From The NES Port Itself. It Was A Bit Hard To Plug In And Required A Bit Of Pressure To Push It All The Way In To The NES Controller Port, But I Wont Be Removing It Often And Its Very Secure So Its Not A Problem. Very Happy With It, I Can Play Quite Far Away On My Couch With No Lag, Disconnecting Or Missed Button Presses On The NES30 Controller,

This is really NOT my first 8bitdo product, far from it, but it is always the same pain in the butt to update the firmware in order to make it work properly. Once setup, it works wonder...I mean, the original controllers are always better that those from 8bitdo by a tiny but important magin but you're trading a bit of performance for confort and wire less setup which is fair to me.

Ordered this a few days ago, and it arrived a week before the estimated delivery date, which is really impressive! The product itself works really well with almost zero latency. It's kind of a loose fit in the NES controller port, but it doesn't fall out or drop the connection at any point. I'd definitely recommend this!

These are exactly the quality you expect from 8bitdo. I’m using them on an analogue NT which offers the original NES ports and working great paired with their N30 Nes style controllers. Pairing is simple and updating is easy via my PC and provided usb cable.

Absolutely fantastic. It's a wonderful feeling to not be tethered to a console. I cannot feel any input lag either. Make sure you pair this with one of the 8bitdo controllers, which feel better than the real thing!

I purchased the receiver to hopefully use my Nintendo Wii U pro controller with my old Nes console. When received it was very quick and easy to set up and works perfectly even at a long distance. Highly recommend.
