This is actually a pretty excellent game. However, as I had played the New Yoshi's island (3DS version of this game) before playing this, the improvements of the new version made playinjg the original a bit of an anticlimax. That's not taking anything away from this game though, While there are many parts of both types that look and play identically, eacjh also have many parts of the game that are completely dfferent, so still feels like a new experience to play each one. But if you decided to go for both like I did, definitely play this one first, and play the newer 3DS version second, as then you'll experience a great game, followed by an even better game, and I think you'll get way more out of it!
