Worms has always been a laugh so when I saw that there was a version out for the Wii I bought it straight away.It's 'classic' 2D Worms, not the 3D version that was available at one point. It's a fairly stripped down and simple version of the game, with about a dozen different weapons, and a limited number of Worms in play at any time.The most disappointing thing was the way that the Wii controller is used. I was expecting the chucking routine to be like the Golf game in Wii sports- the harder you flick your wrist, the further your missile goes. Instead the angle of your remote when you press the B button sets the strength then you flick the remote round a certain way as you let go of the button to release.

This is the latest in 2D Worms games and I must say it is quite refreshing.A Space Oddity may not be as traditional as the 2 Open warfare games on the hand held consoles, but even so it is a solid worms game.The Worms gameplay is here along with our favourite match types. Unfortunatley there are none of the classic weapons we learnt to love on previous games, instead you get a whole selection of space themed weapons. Although there is only a dozen to choose from they are all very entertaining and the best thing is the fact that you have to use the Wii remote to control each weopon, by either directing it on screen or by moving it up and down.This is classic worms with a twist and once you get use to the controls it becomes even better.

I bought this as a flashback game from my childhood and I was not let down.Fantastic customisation on your teams as in the origonal game and the sound effects have been kept the same as well which pleased me and my partner immensely.The controls are simple enough and the gameplay is smooth.Fun and it gives a laugh for those of us who are maybe a little bit more childish!

excellent game, using witt to outsmart your opponents. Excellent for ages 10+. Many different levels each with their own weaponry etc. A very enjoyable game.

Love playing on this game, I was kinda stuck on one part and couldn't do it but love playing the Quick games it's good fun.

Had some issues to understand the game as the guides were not as clear as I had hoped. The graphics could be better.

This was a game I had as a kid and thought my son's would enjoy it was right good all round fun
