A very good game indeed. Nice easy controls to pick up and unlike previously mentioned you can hold down a button to speed up the computer player so you don't have to sit and wait for him to make his break or watch the animations.Nice graphics and plenty of players / arenas / tables and special games to unlock.I have had it for some time now and have still a great deal of the game to explore. It has longevity which so many PS2 games lack these days.Only down side is the strange absence of Jimmy White from the game - not sure why? Also when you play in a tournament they will not introduce custom players they just walk on silently like they're not there whilst your apponent will get a great reception. It's nice and easy to make big breaks which everyone wants to do.But to get the centuries you do have to think about positional play. It's a lot easier than the real life game of snooker thanks to the aiming tools. But lets face it, if it was the same difficulty we would all get bored after 5 minutes.

First of all I think this is an excellent representation to what happens during a snooker match.I have had this game pretty much since it came out and have yet to qualify for any tournaments but I do enjoy the challenge I have come close once or twice but then a big gun comes along and ruins my progress but I have beaten some of the pros like Ronnie O' Sullivan and James Wattana in matches. it can seem at times a slow game but snooker isn't about speed it's about choosing the right shot and hitting it accurately and getting more points than your opponent besides I often enjoy seeing what my opponent is doing so generally I just watch when I am not at the table as it makes it easier for me todecide what my next shot will be Graphically a good game that I think all snooker fans enjoy even if it can be at times tricky.

I have Played On wcs 2003, 2004 and 2005. 2005 is by fare the best one!!!! You can make your own player and be over 100 players. The Graphics are as good as you would need or wanted. The game Play is a lot better. This time the cue ball arrows are fare more accurate, meaning you can make high breaks.Witch is a lot more fun then just getting to 70 and then losing it all. (Like you do in 2003 and 2004) On wcs 2004 my top 10 breaks was from 60 to 102 and 2005 is 89 to 147.

This game has just the right amount of difficulty to make you judge potting bales a skill but is also easy enough so you dont become frustrated by lack of playability or realism.

very fun and addictive with reasonable graphics even being very old and already a game that never goes out of fashion with the times
