Not played any other pool games on the DS but the ball physics in this seem much better than videos I have seen of other DS pool games, as it only has to process the top down view as opposed to a full 3D environment. The graphics are quite good and the balls have some shine to them and move well. You can choose UK red and yellow balls which makes it much easier to see what is going on. Sound effects are good. The touch screen is used to line up shots, set spin and power, then you tap 'play' and the shot is taken. This works quite well and feels more accurate than a real time system using the stylus The ball guide outline is a little jagged but works well,

Best pool game I've played for DS. You just get the top down view, but can zoom in. Importantly, you get a circle to place near the object ball to see what angle you strike. The balls run nice too. Recommended.
