This is a great little peeler. It is strong, works well and doesn't have bits that go rusty like some other brands do. (NB: I do not put it in the dishwasher though - it's very easy to give it a quick wash by hand anyway). It has that handy thing on the side that lets you scoop out unwanted bits like potato eyes. It is ergonomically designed with the indented parts on the side where you hold it, and the bar across the top where you put your index finger to press the peeler onto the vegetable. This gives your peeling strokes more power than with other brands without this bar.
